Alberta and Saskatchewan haven't decriminalized drugs. Alberta would be at 5 deaths per day when adjusted to BCs population. Saskatchewan would have over 6 per day adjusted by population. BC has been at around 6.

Despite the best of intentions, despite the "partnership" excuse, the stuff hit the fan. Trudeau's federal government is responsible for law enforcement that ensures public safety. And Eby's provincial government is responsible for health care that promotes harm reduction. Decriminalization should have been PROMPTLY reversed. From my perspective the federal government minister Ya'ara Saks and her cabinet demonstrated tremendous powers of inaction, procrastination, ineptitude and incompetence. .

I want to understand, really i do. Why is it you can take your life with government approval and a few signatures but if you were to consume narcotics independantly with full knowledge of the outcome it is considered a tragic event? Does this actually make sense to anyone?
