We invite you to join us tomorrow morning as we continue in our sermon series, "The All-Sufficient Grace of God: Ministering in our Weakness." Throughout this series, we have been working through Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians. In this, Paul's most personal letter, we see him defend his ministry against the Corinthians who see him as too "weak" and his sufferings as too great for God to be at work in him. And yet, Paul will show that it is through his weakness that Christ's power is displayed.
In this week's sermon, Pastor Jason Clubine will share from 2 Corinthians 10:1-18. In this week's text, Paul confronts the Corinthians' tendency to judge based on "appearances." Unlike the false apostles with whom the Corinthians have become enamoured, Paul does not seek to compare himself with others. Instead, he seeks the commendation of the Lord. It is a warning against our tendency to compare ourselves with others and boast in our accomplishments, rather than boasting in the Lord and relying on his strength.
