I am 47 years old and been with this band since the 80's they are a great band I met AL a while back in the 90's and I must say this I was so impressed with AL and we hit off so much so I was invited in to the studio at that time and sat through a whole recording of an album which took almost a few months they would page me on my Pager this was when there was no cell phone so I had a pager and received a page from AL and they were at that studio and they would get there around 1 pm and would spend several hours there, I was fortunate enough too sit through the recording of Psalm 69 and Just One Fix just to let you know the time frame and years I was fortunate then my life as I knew it then took a downward spiral in 1997 I was sent to prison for 18 years and we lost contact with each other I wish I could speak with AL again but I tried to get in touch with his manager but no luck as to date his manager must think I am some fan but I am more than just a fan I am his friend and wish I could let him know what happened to me why I dropped off the map like I did, I wish I could change what happened but drugs is such evil thing and that's what got me fucked up in life and got me 18 years prison, 18 years I will never get back it is gone for ever, any one who reads this addiction is real and there is hope to get off drugs but you have to want it band enough to get clean the right way just have to reach out someone will help you I have been clean for over 20 years now hell just reach out to me if you want ok I have a channel ok or leave a comment on this post and just say I need help and I will give you my email ok.

Great video of a fantastic show! Me and Jackie are right in front of you, in the bottom right corner of the screen. 24 hours later and my right ear still sounds like static, my voice is scratchy and my neck hurts. Set list: Breathe. Missing. Deity. Stigmata. Supernaut (Black Sabbath/ 1000 Homo DJs), Don't Stand In Line (Pailhead), Man Should Surrender (Pailhead), Burning Inside, N.W.O., Just One Fix, Thieves, So What. Set Break ... crew removes the onstage chain link barricade ... video projection shows an memorial list of Ministry players that have passed. Encore. Alert Level, Good Trouble, Search & Destroy (The Stooges).

Just saw this show at the Van Buren in Phoenix AZ, and it was AWESOME. Although, it would have been even more awesome if members of the Melvins and C.O.C. played right beside Ministry. That way, there could've been two drummers, four guitarists, two bassists and two singers, just like it was when Ministry played live back in 1990. Maybe they do something like that for upcoming shows, along with moving the barricade closer to the stage, and have the fence back a little, so fans can get up on stage so they can stage dive.

Why are people just standing there? This is a great show, great opener, nostalgic and everything!!…. Maybe that’s it… nostalgia makes people numb. We’re a numb culture. Even when something is true, right in front of us. We cannot dance to the right tunes.

Lots of effects and echo added when he sings.
@slumdogjay2 жыл бұрын
Effects like reverb and delay. Plus there may be some backing tracked vocals that Al is singing along to to make the sound bigger. People like Gary Numan have been doing it for decades.
@24secondsperframe682 жыл бұрын
Yes Al is sometimes to be heard above the master vocal track playback or if he shouts the odd phrase or the rare verse on a few tunes. His live voice must be contributing about 25-40 percent to the sound when he's not actually lip syncing. His mic delay setup does a good job of adding a live layer by echoing after the master track vocal.
