I think burning insane amounts of oil and thus producing CO2 is the big problem. Oldest of my records are 50 years old and I buy no more than one or two per year (not going to buy this one too). Then, todays streaming habits are very damaging to environment too. Caching your favorite songs and albums takes care part of that problem. The lyrics keep referring to "facts". . . .but then the song doesn't actually give any. The worst part about this kind of thinking is screaming about an issue- but not offering any real solution. So let's say all the oil companies got shut down. Okay, then what? Our whole civilization grinds to a halt. People can't get to work, get food, go anywhere. . .Cars that plug into a charger? That electricity comes from somewhere folks, just remember that. Yes pollution is a problem, but simplistic thinking and rashness will lead to disaster. For the USA, getting away from reliance on hydrocarbons will be a long, slow process, since our entire economy and infrastructure is based on the automobile. We will eventually have to rebuild our entire nation from the ground up. Airships? Canals? High velocity trains? I really don't know what the answer will be, but in the future we will have no choice but to find one. What I'm saying is rioting against the oil companies isn't it.
