Yeah, I find that the new cowl really only looks good on BTAS Batman (sort of, even though it's not the right shape compared to the show), and I also think it looks good on the Battinson minifigure. But on Keaton and Bale, it just doesn't look right.

2008 and 2021 were the only ones to have two seats out of the 4. Its so bizarre that 2025 uses that 8 stud wide chassis piece and yet just one seat which is just... cheap.

The 2025 Tumbler only has one seat because of Batman's new rubber cape. However, this is inexcusable, as the set is overpriced, like Star Wars, Marvel, and DC sets, likely due to licensing fees for those themes. I think owners of the set could modify the interior to add more seats. A Bat-Pod would also help justify the price.

I kinda imagine the 2025 tumbler is compatible with the original 6 studs wide speed champion while the 2021 tumbler is for the current 8 studs wide speed champion sets. Im so glad to have bought the 2021 tumbler set back in the day. The new one seems to be a downgrade

It’s actually almost an accurate size (less than 50 pieces extra scattered about in an accurate and detailed way would make it better size-wise), and honestly I could care less about any other fun features. But again, I think you’re right, an ejector seat function would be fucking sick, and it’s really easy to make one

I built the 2008 Tumbler using spare parts i had in my collection. It wasnt perfect, but it looks great and im happy with it. Did need to special order the tires tho, but it is nice.

2021 is by far the best. Love the nightmare batman. The new one is missing so much detail on the back like the flaps/brakes whatever they are! Just give me the original/camo tumbler that is the same as 2021!

Look how little TDKR tumbler is. Then realize it fits the same amount of figs as the new one. I get it’s dark knight trilogy so there wasn’t really passengers, but to take the other seat out is a huge step back in playability. 2021 not only looks way better, but has 2 seats if you wanna put a hero of your choosing there to ride with Batman. I hear he sometimes has a sidekick that would make perfect sense having a second seat in his crime fighting vehicle. You don’t get the choice with this new set. You did with the 2021 variant. That’s a play feature that’s completely missing, in a set that’s overpriced, and where the step back that was taken was for the rubber cape, something that isn’t worth losing an entire play feature over imo. The spongy capes and using that 8 wide chassis for 2 seats should ALWAYS be the way to go over one seat and rubber cape imo. Looks like im just getting the figs for this off bricklink. Two face and Joker specifically, as that new cowl looks pretty stupid on what’s supposed to be Bale Batman. The 2021 set is better in every way. The two face fig is amazing, better than the scarecrow from the other tumbler. But the Batman with the older cowl is way better. Way better tumbler build with way better play features. 2021 tumbler is goated.

Ironically the little 2013 Tumbler that is just A Tumbler and not THE Tumbler is the most accurately scaled of them all… it can actually go on your roads with other LEGO cars 😂. Imagine if they did one on that scale now with all the newer tiny detail pieces we have now, I think they could do a really good job on it but they’d rather sell a 5x too large model-scale tumbler for more money. Give us a small one occasionally and just let the big ones be models and stop putting seats in them and pretending those massive tanks are anywhere near minifig scale

Well I already own the third tumbler and I love it as I never could get the original, plus it having the Batman begins theme, but despite I will almost immediately be buying the newest simply because after so many years I can finally get heath ledger’s joker AND the dark knight two-face, which since they never make dark knight sets anymore makes it definitely worth it to me, and we all know those figures would sell really well so to me it’s worth the extra cash

Price per piece ratio is a clumsy metric. A lot of pieces original 2008 tumbler consists of are big and blocky, and as far as I can tell the newest one has a lot of little details besides having a bit more pieces than the 2021 one. The real catch is figures. I don't know if it's worth to buy figures alone or try to wait until the set price goes down.

My 2 favorites are the 2008 and the 2021 without. I hated the 2013 Tumbler at its time that years later I preferred to build a MOC of the Bane's Tumbler based on the 2021 building, and concerning the 2025 version... I got one word for it "Downgrade👎🏻"

The 2021 tumbler has more accurate details and shaping, the new one just seems like it’s more of a “kids playset.” Which, I know Lego is a toy company. But I feel this doesn’t align with their previously set design standards, where accuracy and playability met in the middle. More importantly, the new one feels very overpriced for what it is.

Why so serious, Lego? The new tumbler could’ve just been s l i g h t l y wider to fit 2 people. The new DC sets feel SO repetitive! It’s Batmobile, Batwing and Batcave! Over, and over, and over! The Superman mech, while it is creative, it should have been LEX LUTHOR to be in the mech! He’s the one who needs it as he has NO POWERS! The bat family, they should get mechs if Lego loves mechs so much! Nightwing mech, Robin mech, Batgirl mech, Red Robin mech. They should get mechs if they REALLY need them.
