That’s a fire build man🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’m glad I found your video, lol! I’m currently bagging my 05 X-Runner, and I have to delete the front shocks also. How would one mount the bags to keep the keep the shocks?

Nice, question have a 1971 hilux working on, installed bags also front and back, but had to delete the front shock, thinking of modifying and relocating front shock or not, haven't driven it yet still in the making, does ur ride does find with out it or does it bounce in front ?

I have shocks on the front of this truck. If you go watch video " final assembly episode 17" at the 4 minute mark you can see my current setup. I personally would never drive a bagged truck without shocks. It handles great. It's safe for you and others. Your rims and bags will thank you. ❤️🤙 where can I see pics of your rad truck?

Looks cool! I have air suspension on my truck as well. I only have air bags in the front, no additional shocks and I get a little wobbly on bad roads and some shaking in the steering at about 55mph or up. Will adding regular shocks to the front bags help? Thanks for any info guys.
@skillset_ben Жыл бұрын
Heck yes! You should always run shocks. Its way safer, and not to mention, your expensive wheels will thank you.

Did the upper bag brackets get the gussets welded in off camera? It's been about 10 years since I sold off my minitrucks. I'm glad to see people are still building them. I used to be in Perfect Poise CC.

At this point no they hadn't, but they will for sure. Wanted to make sure I had the brackets positioned correctly to get the most lift. Slam specialties SS6 bags. Full install video coming soon, so Subscribe 😁

No. I didn't on this one. But I did it on the Nissan Hardbody and triangulated the lower A-arms. At some point, I will for the body drop. The Nissan video is coming up next week. The first video is up now. Appreciate the support!
