Park your car, open up the trunk. Unlock the top latches, take a flash light and see if there is anything caught in the locking mechanism

Hi there my mini is making a beeping sound when the roof is completely open . Also is displaying on my dashboard a symbol of a car with a padlock. Do you have any ideia what it could be . It just started today . Thank you

I found that if u hold the switch s few seconds longer it "Locks" it in place and it doesn't beep

This video needs to be updated.... My 2018 convertible top can be closed with the key FOB the same way that it is opened with the key FOB. All you have to do is hold the lock button. You do have to stand pretty close to the car for this to work.

Mine is a 2011 and it also closes with the lock button on the fob

on most R56s you have to code the closing function in with bimmercode, its usually not coded
