Great job - did you write the code yourself of was it modified from an earlier source? The code looks great (and clean), but this is the main blocker for me getting into Daisy projects. Do you know if any good learning resources that explore Arduino and Daisy together? Cheers dude

Thanks! I started with the DaisyDuino examples and tried to figure things out from there. 😅github.com/electro-smith/DaisyDuino/tree/master/examples

I've always been curious how an analog reverb would work... maybe not the best DIY project I would assume
@benjiaomodular Жыл бұрын
It's an AWESOME DIY project! Reverb has traditionally been analog using springs and plates. I remember watching this video by @LeoMakes a couple of years ago where he makes a reverb using transducers and piezo pickups hooked up to a metal sheet: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYu6cqGqhNOlrpY On the other hand, you can chain a couple of PT2399 delay chips (technically digital) with different delay times to simulate sound bouncing off different surfaces. www.deeptronic.com/electronic-circuit-design/diy-reverb-pedal-circuit-from-spring-to-room-like-reverb-using-multiple-pt2399-ic-chips/

Hey again … could I ask how you managed to down-scale the power into the Seed from Eurorack levels?
@benjiaomodular8 ай бұрын
Hey! Sorry I missed your comment. The Seed works great on 12V power so I didn't really have to downscale it. For audio and CV levels, on the other hand, I had to borrow some circuitry from the Daisy Patch SM which is also open-source. You can find my schematics for it on Github github.com/benjiaomodular/MiniVerb

Thanks man I’ll take a look. As far as I can tell, the Daisy Seed requires 3.3v, whereas the incoming Eurorack voltage is 12v. Does the Seed have the components to downgrade the power to 3.3v then? If so that’s great 😁

would this be hard to port to a arduino nano? I just bought adozen for my first go at arduino
@benjiaomodular Жыл бұрын
Yeah, Arduinos are a bit underpowered for effects processing. There are, however, a lot of other synth-related projects you can do with them. Checkout out @HAGIWO's stuff kzbin.info
