@@ITKlinikFiX Well I guess I am stuck with a broken ES15 due to the fact that it would cost more to ship it back and forth than its worth. Sorry but thank you for your reply.

I have an es15 and after a fall the AGD2 component (gyroscope sensor) cracked, causing it to only give a signal when charging. I changed it and even after changing the component the trigger button gets hot

If the button becomes hot it is due to subsequent passage of current. I imagine that by soldering you will have created some short circuit, or a faulty component goes ground through the switch
