The LR exterminator grants +1ap to any target hit by the auto cannon. Would have made a huge difference in the game and possibly killed the norm 1 turn early.

Remember the LR Exterminator gives a bonus -1 AP to the rest of the army on the target it hits with the autocannon. Just needs 1 hit, not any damage done.
