Congratulations on your new Gucci bag! I don't know what it is about the Ophidia and the horsebit collection from Gucci, but I'm obsessed with both. I have a small wallet, a back pack and a pouch from the Ophidia collection, and I am definitely giving myself a new handbag from their 1955 horsebit collection for Christmas. I totally do the same thing you do, and I even include a gift note to myself. My family and friends used to think that was funny, but over the years, I've inspired other friends to do the same for themselves. I love the size of this one. Good price too. I hate how they charge more the crossbody version by just adding a chain and extra strap for 1750 (a little smaller too). I think you might like the Celine Ava too, it's smaller and more $ though. That one is popular too.

So I have been looking at the navy version of this with the removable chain strap and the second webbing strap- but it’s about €500 more expensive than this one 😢 I’m all about crossbody and afraid if I get this version I won’t use it as a shoulder bag. But €500 extra for the removable option is just too much. Anyone here have any words of wisdom/ encouragement?

Gucci was the brand that Invested into when I started my designer bag collection. I have about 7 Gucci bags I believe and gave one to my sister so had 8. Can you fit an LV Clemence wallet? I’ve tried for years to get the pochette but never in stock in Australia. I got the damier azure so I know it fits my full size wallet but looks like I may go with the Gucci as a substitute. Just not sure because of the restricted zip on the Gucci if I can manoeuvre wallet inside

Yes, you can fit a Clemence inside. You have to angle it going in, but it fits with room to spare around it.
