I currently have my eye on this same unit. My question is.... And I believe I can, does it use foot pedal and handheld at same time? I do like the hand control however.... Sometimes in the coves I fish on lake Mead, I find myself wanting a foot pedal because I don't like having to stop casting to reach down for the hand controller. Any thoughts

I don't have foot pedal. One of the reasons I went with Terrova with remote only is that foot pedals and myself don't get along.

Only problems I've had is the slot the head tab goes into . Finding slot to get motor working was hard till I noticed the slot is located at the 2 pm position.

I just ordered a Terrova 55 lb with only remote are all Terrova i-pilot I can't see where it says it's an i pilot

I have two 29 Group batteries in parallel for Terrova and a 27 Group for rear kicker motor and a 24 Group starter battery for Mercury 40 hp

It absolutely works well. On my 16.5ft deep V on top speed it gets around 2.3mph..maybe more with no wind. Great trolling speeds. And it can be turned down to .5 speed so it can be set so casting and moving parallel to the shoreline easy. The GPS spotlock keeps the boat in place. An absolute game changer.

The front deck on my aluminum boat is on the thin side and I am concerned if it can handle the extra weight of the 80lb thrust terrova. Do you remember how heavy your 55lb thrust Terrova felt when you installed it?

Not sure about the weight, but as I remember it didn't seem much different than a regular trolling motor. Placement is important. They make a mounting plate which makes the motor removable for transit.

My friend bought the MEGA down imagining one. I just didn't need to use that in front of boat. Where I fish, I can get info on my other fish finder and I didn't think I'd really need it. Good question. Maybe once I see my friends in action I'll regret it.

Yes only once before boat was put away for winter. My follow up video was about how it preformed. Very well. I'm very glad I bought it.

I think around 1500 to 2000..I'm not sure. It holds 4 to 5 people with no problem and I have 4 lead cell batteries in it with gear.
