The no. 1 team in Minnesota's 3A category, and nationally ranked Minnehaha Academy took on 4A's top ranked team and undefeated Eden Prairie. Jalen Suggs was the top scorer for Minnehaha while John Henry paced Eden Prairie.

they are good at everything. Biggest school in the state. Hockey, football, basketball, etc all pretty dominant in each. there's some off year every now and then but probably the most consistently good school in each sport.

Minnehaha isn't overrated, EP is just a good team that plays hard and keeps going. Suggs was the best player on the court, but the next 4 toughest players were on EP and they wore Minnehaha down. Most teams would of folded due to the intimidation factor of a hyped game against a stud player, kudos to EP.

EP reminds me of Litchfield back in 1999 2000. They beat all these so called all-star teams in the cities by 30 points. Noone could touch them. They were a 2a school to, that played with what they had at there school. They didn't need to stack there team up to be competitive. They smoked humphries team and Jake Sullivan's team by 30. Bunch of farm boys. Went 30-0 that year, and went down as the best Minnesota team ever.

Minnehaha Acedemy was the better team. EP got hot with the 3 in the second half. MA destroyed EP in the first half. Refs made numerous bad calls late in the game as well. Two of the great teams in the entire country last year. MA knocked off the #1 ranked team in the nation by 20 points at Target Center. I attended the MA/EP game. It was a pleasure to watch!

Just like I thought Minnehaha is definitely OVERATTED. And the fact they beat Sierra Canyon means nothing. SC doesn’t play good competition consistently. Apparently Minnehaha doesn’t either, because they just got out classed and out coached by a group of fundamentally sound white boys. They had a “box and 2” on Jalen all night and he kept driving the lane forcing shots when he could’ve been shooting them out that defense. #13 and #11 will probably end up in the Big 10.

No they lost to a better coached, more fundamentally sound team, at no time is a loss superior to a win. EP is top ranked I. Minnesota top level. Minnehaha Acadrmy is a private school that plays generally lesser competitive teams in state they’re not a 4A team. Why were they expecting to win. Takes a lot for small schools to upset big schools and that’s what this would have been. Top 4 A schools are very physical in this state. EP looked like their football team and Minnehaha players looked like frail in comparison every time they got bumped was like running into a oak tree. No matter how skilled you are if you can’t defend physically you will be in for a long night.
