As a former Minnesota paramedic, I always was impressed at the level of medical training/accumen that was provided by Minnesota state patrol. Not uncommon to have them first respond to a random medical in the middle of nowhere and save some lives. Use the AED, start CPR, stop bleeding, help lift.Not as common in other places.

If you listen to the officers at 11:01 they are heard twice saying he's always been nice to them, just ancy. That tells me they went into this with no ill intentions. I read that he was wanted for questioning about a felony violation of a domestic protection order. That could be why he didn’t want to get out the car. If you know you Have a warrant then you should get it cleared up or if you get taken to jail you can find another way if it was wrong. Don't guess give them verified facts, maybe if Cobb's parents had shown him how he would still be alive. It would probably be a good idea for police to speak to high school kids about traffic stops. I wondered the same, till I saw it from a different angle. He hadn't entered the highway full way & they weren't sure if he was going to stop! And shock & adrenaline to I would wager had something to do with it! They sure hightailed it back to their cars fast!

They were told to bring him in, there was clearly a good reason! His trying to flee & dragging them in the road caused his death! He was his only executioner!

So they basically murdered this guy because he wouldn't get out of his car? The only reason a police officer can use deadly force is if his life or the lives of others is in danger, and no one's life was in danger here except for the guy driving the car that was pulled over .

There was no reason to shoot! This is murder smh! Shooting a fleeing suspect is cowardly! It’s the same as shooting someone in the back! These dumbasses shouldn’t have jump in the car! He was fleeing because he was scared not for being a criminal! I would like to know what’s going on before I get out of my car as well. Had they told him this man could still be alive! I get that he had an hold from another state but they didn’t tell him that, they just screaming for him to get out of the car! it could have just been traffic tickets, who knows but this was definitely murder!
