As a former Minnesota paramedic, I always was impressed at the level of medical training/accumen that was provided by Minnesota state patrol. Not uncommon to have them first respond to a random medical in the middle of nowhere and save some lives. Use the AED, start CPR, stop bleeding, help lift.Not as common in other places.

I don't get what's all the fuzz about this, he had a warrant, and he had a protection order against him meaning that he committed domestic violence, so he wasn't supposed to have a gun anywhere in his car or home, he took off dragging an officer and got shot... what's the "lets investigate" from community group so much about? He was a law breaking thug that got dealt with... now the person he was keeping terrified for her life can be at peace.

You make a good point...that trunk was so disorganised......shouldn't it be a policy for each shift to ensure every thing is in order???

Why did the officers run towards the perp instead of running back to their squad cars after he took off ?
@rodneycaupp5962 Жыл бұрын
They wanted to finish off his roadside prosecution, and execution, for having a headlight out.

@@rodneycaupp5962 or maybe they wanted to finish off his roadside execution for using his car as a 3000 pound weapon to threaten their lives.

They knew he was shot. If you watch closely the car slowly rolls away. Seems as if they thought it might stop and ran after it.
@cristineconnell7803 Жыл бұрын
I wondered the same, till I saw it from a different angle. He hadn't entered the highway full way & they weren't sure if he was going to stop! And shock & adrenaline to I would wager had something to do with it! They sure hightailed it back to their cars fast!
@cristineconnell7803 Жыл бұрын
@@rodneycaupp5962Don't be ridiculous! They asked him to step out for other reasons than a headlight! I believe he had a warrant & they were to bring him in! They were told to bring him in, there was clearly a good reason! His trying to flee & dragging them in the road caused his death! He was his only executioner!

So they basically murdered this guy because he wouldn't get out of his car? The only reason a police officer can use deadly force is if his life or the lives of others is in danger, and no one's life was in danger here except for the guy driving the car that was pulled over .
@OhNoHeDidnt Жыл бұрын
There was no reason to shoot! This is murder smh! Shooting a fleeing suspect is cowardly! It’s the same as shooting someone in the back! These dumbasses shouldn’t have jump in the car! He was fleeing because he was scared not for being a criminal! I would like to know what’s going on before I get out of my car as well. Had they told him this man could still be alive! I get that he had an hold from another state but they didn’t tell him that, they just screaming for him to get out of the car! it could have just been traffic tickets, who knows but this was definitely murder!
