Amazing game from Kyrie. Luka close the game for the Mavs but make no mistake, Kyrie is the X factor for this win. He set the tone offensively from the get go and hustle hard on the defensive end as well which really provides a huge impact to his team mentally and it shows. Role-players wise, Wolves did slightly better but both sides hustled hard and it was a great game all in all.

Huge props to Mavs for keeping it consistent. TWolves had 18 3s but Dallas weren't converting. Instead, they wanted to put the easy buckets in. And it worked out. The 3s stopped coming in, and ANT & co couldn't. do it. Dallas play the best fundamental basketball.

Thats was a bad plan. The threes started falling so they continued shooting them and completely neglected inside game so Dallas wasnt expending much energy on defensive end. Much easier and sit back and let them shoot threes than to guard them inside.

Prime Draymond and Prime Klay was a far better defender than Ant, but even they struggled guarding Kyrie. You can make an argument that they faced prime Kyrie, but Kyrie still got the moves to cook anyone even today.
