finally, someone made a really fair video about Minneapolis, you really hit on the top popular places in the city like an insider ..... but the twin cities has much much more... this is only scratching the surface.... next time visit in August to see the country's largest fair..... we call it Minnesota get together and its really all of us get together in the fair every year. Thanks very much for the video.

That's great to know about the fair! Thank you so much for the tip and thanks for your nice comment! I really appreciate it! Yes, I wish I had the time to stay longer and visit Saint Paul. My husband went there while I was doing the segway tour and he loved it!

Great tour, I'm very happy to call the Twin Cities my home. There's also plenty of history and fun to be had in St. Paul, and both cities are known for having a vibrant music and theatre scene which is what keeps me here as a musician. Definitely a lot of the perks of being in a larger city but with more affordable prices and a bit of a friendlier Midwestern atmosphere. Summertime in Minnesota is the best!
@RenataPereiraTV7 жыл бұрын
Fully agree with you! I didn't have the time to enjoy St Paul, as I was participating at an event. But my husband did while I was busy and he loved it. I've heard so many great things that I'm considering returning to shoot another video on St Paul alone. Let's see when that will be possible! :)

@@RenataPereiraTV Believe it or not, we have been having mid-30° (F) temps lately, which by the MN standards is practically a "put on your shorts and go running outside" weather. 🏝️ It will get cold, though, in January and February. Like -20°F (not every day of course). 😭

I live in DT Mpls and I don't normally watch vlogs in general, especially vlogs about where I live. This is the 1st in about 15 vlogs that really did Minneapolis justice, as not feeling well and decided to YT binge this afternoon. It was beautiful and well thought out. And a great informative combination of showcasing the city and yourself versus vloggers showing themselves off in the city. And I'm not honestly trying to be mean but they really missed what you nailed, about what is so amazing about living here

Is it like really cold all year I’m from tx so Cold weather below 35 is kinda scary is the light expensive??
@UnstapledLisa Жыл бұрын
@@RealStr8rage It can get way colder than 35 degrees out we can go from a 60 degree day in November to 20 degrees overnight. Sometimes it's colder here than the Arctic Circle. So while we can have a ton of snow and 30 below temps in the winter time and it can be super hot in the summer, I truthfully couldn't be in a climate that didn't have seasonal changes, sometimes though they can be drastic but not all the time. It seems like both Summer when it's super hot and Winter where it can vary and 35 degrees is mild, both Fall and Spring don't seem to last long. But we do have a lot of things to make up for it. Beautiful lakes and parks, a ton of shopping wonderful healthcare facilities, good schools and a lot of major companies are headquartered here, like Target. Renata did do a good job in a few videos she's done about the Twin Cities. If one is a foodie there's a variety of all kinds of food here. Great schools starting young to colleges. Mall of America brings in people from all over the world. And even for as cold as it gets here, we had Superbowl 52 here which I happened to live in Downtown Minneapolis and 4 blocks away from the stadium when it happened (I did end up moving, as I wasn't cut out for downtown life, especially not as a person who doesn't have a ton of money). If you have friends here, even if it's to the extent of social media and you've never been to the Twin Cities, if you have have the time and extra funds, it might be worth a trip. And to quote Prince before his untimely passing about what he said about the cold "It keeps the bad people out". While that's not totally true, MN does have it's fair share of crime but there's lots of things to explore here. We also have in the Twin Cities skyways meaning that both in Downtown Minneapolis and Downtown St Paul on the 2nd floor buildings are connected via skyway so one wouldn't have to go outside in the cold. But places like Mall of America is in Bloomington about 15-20 minutes away. Again, if you have an interest, there's always lots to do and see here, if you have people or people where you are from who may be curious also to come here. Even during the Superbowl here when it was super cold and a lot of snow, I'm talking a lot of temps below zero, there was so much to do and see for those who weren't coming in specifically for that. Let me know if you have any other questions, I already know I may have overanswered what you've already asked.

Minneapolis means "water city" coming from the Ojibwe and Greek words "mni" and "polis". The lakes and the Mississippi river are important features of Mpls. Makes for having fun in the city as well.

@RenataPereiraTV6 жыл бұрын
Hi! To the contrary, I think Buffalo IS popular 😉. Big and nice city! I got this data from the city of Minneapolis, and now, thinking with myself, I believe they took into consideration that either Niagara is at a different level and can't be compared to a simple waterfall or that it doesn't qualify for not being entirely within the USA... Anyways, thanks for pointing that out 😉
