Been bleeding Purple since I was 12 years old in 1967, so I love your passion for the Vikings and your hate for the rest of the NFC North. When ever another NFC North team is in the NFC Championship game, I root for the other team. Like you, I never ever want anyone from the NFC North to win a Super Bowl, but the Vikings! I don't even want them to be in contention to win. I have hated the Cowboys ever since the Hail Mary touchdown by Staubach, yet I would root for them over the Peckers, Kittens, and wimpy Bears in the playoffs.

100%. You can have some begrudging respect for your division rivals, but the correct response is we always want them to lose and to laugh when they do lose. I'm a week to week fan of whatever teams play the Packers, Lions, and Bears except when they play each other, then the worse record usually gets my cheers. Like the stupid Bears and their stupid faces against the fraud Lions. WHY. I cannot explain the anxiety the Lions gave me last year when they were up against the 49ers. I was like, no, I can't see them in the SB before the Vikings in my lifetime. No. The relief was sublime when they Lions'd all over themselves the second half. Anyway, carry on.

I'm a Jerome, not a KC fan, but the refs got that call right. When you look at the replay, a wr is lined up offsides, and the tight end is signaling him to back up, and the qb is looking that way as well when the ball is snapped. The wr was resetting himself when the ball was snapped. Therefore, it was an illegal shift and not a false start. The Raiders just f'd up on that play.
@joemonoco19776 сағат бұрын
That’s not the point. Even if what you said is true, the fact is the referee initially blew the play dead. Which means there is no play. Once the play is ruled dead, per rules that play can’t be reversed.
@shawnjohnson97636 сағат бұрын
@joemonoco1977 The whistle didn't blow until the play was over. The Raiders are my 3rd favorite team after the Vikings and whoever is playing the Packers, but they screwed the pooch on that play. We can't blame the refs for everything.

I could be happy for the Lions if they didn't screw over Barry Sanders and let him go when he requested to play for a contender. The Lions robbed us all of seeing more years of the Great one. I will never forgive or forget.

Love your show but question why Ashton Jeanty should win the heisman. I’ve not seen a player like Travis Hunter (since Deion Sanders). The closest thing to Travis Hunter in fb is Taysom Hill, who is adept at 3 offensive position-qb, rb, and wr. Hunter regularly plays over 100 snaps per game and is his teams’ best receiver and cornerback. He’s so good that teams rarely throw his way. Jeanty is the top offensive player in college but unfortunately that’s not enough this year.

The Chiefs will keep getting the breaks because the NFL knows a three-peat will draw more viewers than any other team in the AFC. They are vulnerable, and if the Vikings can get to the SB-and I believe they can-if they keep focused on each game, one game at a time, this will be a classic game.
