Connelly has done nothing in Minnesota. He gets these passes for everything when literally has done nothing. He didn’t draft ANT, he didn’t draft jaden but massively overpaid him, he didn’t sign naz as a udfa. What connelly has done was trade for gobert, a 35 yo aging and often hurt PG who declined full year 2 here and traded the 2nd best player for a career role player and JR. Also gave finch who isn’t a good coach an extension he’s done nothing with the wolves to get the patience he gets with Minnesota media specifically these guys

@@Chente_651 Yeah, I think the issue is this team has been horrible for so long, that any success looks like genius, when it's just ok. I think Finch is a good coach, but he's not shown to be great. This team went from physical and tough defensively to mid to bottom on both sides. Ant jacking up 3s seems so out of character for what kind of player he was last season. I honestly don't know what this team is anymore.

He might still consider the $35 million per year if it were part of a longer-term agreement, prioritizing the security of the extended contract over a shorter, higher compensation.

the entire Plan the Vikes have put in place does not include Darnold. The contracts for Jefferson and Darrisaw were done with the intent of a starting QB on a rookie contract for 2025. Darnold would only be back if JJM suffered a set back on his knee injury .
