Disagree somewhat with the panel on Sam D. IF Jones isn't progressing enough for KOC and Sam still wants to stay (inexpensively) then Vikings keep Sam and ditch Jones. Also, Jones might want mucho Dinero for being a backup (!?!). Only likely scenario is: Jones and Darnold won't be BOTH here next year.....unless JJMc off season disaster occurs (injury etc.).

Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum i got through the packers and lions game and honestly... I'm sure that "I SMELL PUMPKIN...ALOT OF IT!". I got my first whiff of it early in the first quarter. The second quarter came and I noticed it was getting stronger, and even stronger.... By the fourth quarter I was desperately looking the flush handle, or something to cover the scent!! Situation between Kirk and Sam is completely different. There is an attachment since Kirk was the in house QB but, bringing Sam, gave KOC the opportunity to prove how good he is with any QB. Letting Sam and keeping hopes with JJM is the right decision to bring purple dream into reality. SKOL

There are probably 4 elite quarterbacks in the league. The rest are considered good, above average, average, and poor. Cousins has been above average throughout his career, meaning he can put up numbers but is not good enough to elevate those around him on a consistent basis. Due to a lack of good QBs out there, an above average quarterback can demand top dollar. Cousins has a great agent who has negotiated great contracts for his client. I don’t begrudge Cousins for choosing to get paid both here and in Atlanta. Darnold has taken advantage of the weapons around him and coaching and is leading like never before. Let’s hope it continues.

Kirk did absolutely nothing while he was here. Just took our money and left us with a single playoff win. We were better with Kase Keenum. I don't see how anyone who actually likes Vikings football is a fan of Kirk Cousins. Sure he was a good stat man and we had some fun games, but the guy is softer than toilet paper.

Kirk was a solid qb for us, he's just not someone who will ever win in the playoffs. Imagine like a tony romo. He was paid a lot of guaranteed money to get us over the hump, but he just wasnt that type of qb. We were desperate and had to pay to bring a good qb here since we suck at drafting them or developing them despite all of the different regimes in charge. ​@deanross4983

KOC wanting Kirk back, despite the large contract, is giant a red flag. That’s a head coach who put loyalty/personal interest above winning. Look no further than a certain starting RB last year. I’d rather lose with him and him, than try to win with anyone else. It’s all about showing the world how smart/great of a HC you are.

Good show guys. I hope Vikings fans give Cousins a warm welcome on Sunday because he clearly represented the Vikings organization with class and dignity! What he did on the field as the Vikings high paid QB though is open to interpretation to all Vikings fan and many are not happy with his play and his worth as a QB! When you consider all things, Cousins is a genius and also a master of disguise! On one hand, Cousins negotiating skills along with his agent are totally brilliant! Regardless of what we think of him, he is a master of representing himself and his ability to get the most out of his financial opportunities. On the other hand, he presents himself as 'Golden' when some think he is really 'fools gold'. His inability to improvise on the playing field is his downfall and maybe his greatest deception! He lacks pure QB instincts, has trouble adapting during the play, he is a sitting duck when pressured in the pocket and prefers to check down when he needs a big play, like we saw against the Giants! This Sunday against the Vikings at US Bank Stadium, will Cousins be golden or just plain fools gold. We are about ro find out! 🤔🥺🧐
