That game gave me flashbacks to both the Seventies Vikings and the 2022 Bills game. Chicago is a really good team that has been a bit snakebit and the Vikings showed a lot of character in gutting out the win. I thought it was an incredibly enjoyable game.

Purple Daily hosts are almost to the point of being KOC sycophants the way they refute in total bad faith and disregard a lot of blatant issues with the KOC regime: Turnovers, player preparedness, penalties, 2nd half(overall) adjustments, and his mismanagement of the QB situation in the past i.e. Jaren Hall starting against Green Bay last year. Ruined Hall’s progression. But, KOC, I’ll concede, has been a net positive for the Vikings to this point, but his hubris and his lack of prudence and a killer instinct just might be what it is. … so we’ll see how it all plays out.

He has improved drastically from his first year in play calling, has turned Darnold into a stud, has a great culture built and still holds the players accountable. THere is only one rule for 2 pt conversions. You don't go for it, unless you need it to win the game or tie the game late. Going for it at any other time only puts you further behind each time you miss forcing you to make even dumber decisions later on in the game

When you only rush 3 or 4 linemen and play soft in your backfield for most of the 4th quarter, aka PREVENT DEFENSE this is always going to happen. Both offense and defense play calling was just terrible most of this game.

Some bad takes: Judd - You griped about how special teams needs work. SPECIAL TEAMS SAVED THE GAME. Muffed punt recovery, blocked FG. Those 2 things turn this W into a loss. Saying someone is on "the hot seat" doesn't mean getting rid of middle of the season. But If KOC keeps running it on 1st and 10 all game, throwing deep bombs on 3rd and 2 and the length of playcalls is annoying. Then Darnold is ALWAYS left 4 seconds to snap the ball. WHY are we still Running on 1st down like 95% of the time. Defenses KNOW this. We have so many 2nd and 11+ every game. This then FORCES Darnold to have to throw on 2nd down. I am not saying you throw every 1st down. but mix it up. Darnold is having decent success with play action. keep it going.
