The Bengals spread the ball out at an almost unprecedented level here. They had 12 different receivers targeted this game, with 11 making catches. It also reflects well on Browning that he’s able to spread the ball around like that.

This wasnt a giveaway but a knockdown drag out battle to the bloody and bitter end where only one team could ultimately come out on top. Bengals missed a couple of big chances earlier in the game. The deep route td pass that was overthrown, the Pratt pick six, etc.

Quite frankly, I'll hold out on my Jake Browning starter talk til at least I see how the next 3 games shake out. But I'll say this; if Jake balls out with the rest of the O and they end up not only in the playoffs but going deep, he's definitely going to have the front office receiving knocks at the door for him. If Katie Blackburn & Duke Tobin decide to deal him away at that point, he'll be worth, at the very least, a second round pick and some cash, IMO.

Nick Mullens is not a starting QB Material!At the 49ers he have played some good Games here and there but that was it!Most of the Time he sucked!I think every Backup can play some good Games but there is a Reason why they are the Backups!Nick Mullens never reach a Starting Job!So it goes on with him as a 2nd or 3rd Stringer!At some Teams it is closer between the Starter and the Backups as in other Teams!Mullens is far behind Cousins but for example Gardner Minshew is the best Backup QB in the NFL I think and it is really close between him and Anthony Richardson!Or by the Falcons with Ridder and his Backups its very very close!I wonder why Cooper Rush did not have a Starting Job!He was doing well when Dak was injured!
