“First team to 45 wins” is a bizarre comment to me. The Vikings have only surrendered 30 points twice this year, and the most they’ve give up was 31 to these same Lions. Vikings defense still has horses- even if the Lions offense is hot, their defense isn’t, and Minnesota is playing strong on both sides of the ball. I bet the score is closer than the yardage totals, something like Vikes outgain the Lions 450 to 350 but only win something like 34-27

It is a coin toss. I would actually give Detroit a little better odds at winning because of it being at home, but if you say that “defense wins championships”, then I would have to give the nod to the Vikings because I think Minnesota’s defense has been playing better than the Lions. And I think it’ll come down to which defense makes more stops and because of the injuries for the Lions, which is extremely unfortunate I think the Vikings make more stops last bit is minnesota field goal kicker had an off game hopefully doesn’t have two bad ones in a row it could be costly

@ it is but it isn’t like it is overly significant…they are both great offenses ranking in the top of most categories, the defense is what sets them apart and stands out…albeit mainly because of injuries to the Lions 😔

@ let’s not forget that this game came down to a game winning field goal earlier…since then the lions have lost many players…granted Hutchinson was already out which he still is but so was Blake Cashman who is back and he will be a large component to stopping the run
