Sorry ! Can’t recognise melodic connection with Django’s original tune , for me emotionally lacking ! The scurrying chord improvising was okay for a short solo but the tune’s title is “ MINOR Swing “, so do him the favour of emulating more the lyrical harmony and purer instrumental sounds of Stephane Grappelli’s violin in their quartet recordings .
