I just wanna have as much confidence in myself as Minori has when wearing a white sweater while popping paint balls. 😅🙈 Btw, I‘m 99% sure that this uv gel was the same that is used for artificial nails, so it’s non-toxic (I‘m a nail tech btw). The sticky layer on the outside is normal after curing and can easily be removed using some alcohol.

@@missemilyjane if you mean by ok that it doesn‘t damage your skin, yes it is. The same kind of uv gel is often used for tooth fillings, so it better be ok. 😅 However, if you‘ve got it on your skin and then accidentally cure it, it might burn your skin, because most gels tend to get quite hot while curing. But if you wipe it off right away, that’s totally fine.

They have such cute craft kits nowadays!! A small tip for the pottery… I don’t know a ton about pottery, but I do know when adding those handles or ears off the base of the clay, you need to score one if not both ends of the clay you’d like to adhere to each other… if I’m not mistaken it’s because the two sides are too smooth to adhere to each other and will easily break off.

In simpler terms, you need to lightly scratch the clay in the area you want to attach something.

I think for a toy and not too much investment that pottery wheel was awesome! Not everything has to be a profession or even a serious hobby, there exists a space for things to be simple quick, and yes low quality but fun. I think that pottery wheel was perfect for that, and you clearly had a tone of fun using it and it was fun to watch you!

With pottery, you'll make a much smoother and more even edge if you just put the trimming tool down, while it is spinning and hold it in place, while the wheel turns the pot against the tool.

Next time you visit the Bay Area, I recommend the art stores Utrecht in SF, Blick in Oakland, and FLAX in Oakland. FLAX has a build your own Ukulele kit, and I've seen a kid's design your own doll dresses kit, complete with a tiny mannequin, at Blick!

I remember I used to love Ren and Stimpy when I was little, that creepy one that you got was Ren and he's a chihuahua. But I agree, the Mini Brands version looks so creepy (though he's plenty creepy-looking enough anyway lol😂), you inspired me to get one and for some reason I got a lot of box ones o.O (the ones where it's the box of the toy but it's got cardboard filler inside) I love how your little creations turned out, they are so cute!! When I get a place of my own, I also want to try some of those creative kits.

Hey, about your SECOND pottery thingy....put three holes on equal length from eachother, put in some strong string (the strings can be made prettier to) then put in some plant fabric or plastic sheet in the bottom, a little lecia or rocks in the bottom,dirt, and have a little hanging plant in it. You can also have a small fake plant in it, if you dont have green thumbs.

Turning Red defs made me cry when she had the opportunity to see her mom's past and there she discovered the reason why her mother was putting a lot of pressure on her. It reminded me of myself being really pressured of getting high grades in school specially being a female and the eldest in an asian family. turning red is probably my comfort movie

12:16 I tried pottery at my school already! it is a normal pottery so you have to spin it and it did not came with the mold with is the blue thing and the witch hat. It was really messy since i am not even a teen but i had alot fun! Love your vids!

I'm sure you've checked b6 now. But in case you haven't, Ren and stimpy was a cartoon on nickelodeon in the 90's. I believe Ren was suppose to be a chihuahua and Stimpy a cat and they lived together.

I think, the main reason paint pops were not very satisfying is a low quality of paper. The paints itself looked really pretty on it's own, but not on paper. Also, i wonder, if it was possible to pop them at distance from paper (much like you would work with blow paints). Technically it should cause the paint splatter more. Loved all the other kits!
