Seeing all of the characters live happily with their beloved ones makes me want to cry. This is what would have happened in a happier alternative universe. It's so sad that our traveler didn't get to meet with their sibling at the end too, but there was a deeper meaning to it. The animation was so good, what the heck. This is a masterpiece.

The alternate timelines from this animation reminds me of Honkai impact’s “cyberangel” animation where Bronya is shown to have different timelines where she was not raised as a child soldier by warlords and lived a happy normal life with her friends. That part always hits me hard ,like damn..

Tbh, if the good things happens, Scaramouche, Nahida wouldn't exist, Qiqi could've dead due to old age, but tbh seeing Guizhong, and Ei's acquaintances live does put a bitter smile into my face, because as happy as it is it's all imagination, but I'm also happy that most of the characters even thought to go through tough time mentally and physically, they're at peace now (at least for Ei and Zhongli, Nahida, etc)

This made me shed tears, but it also taught me a lesson sort of? For example, if Venti's friend didn't die and Venti didn't become an archon, could he have saved Xiao that one time? Would Venti's friend being alive cost Xiao's life? Wasn't Qiqi trapped for hundreds of years in amber? So we wouldn't have met her at all. Not criticizing or critiquing the video at all by the way, I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It's a work of art. 💜What I mean is that though these tradegies are heartbreaking, they lead to some good things in the end. If you'll excuse me, I'll go back to sobbing my genshin lore lover heart out.

This is what I imagine the ending is after the introduction of "Loom of Fate" and being able to travel in time in the Caribert Quest. I like to imagine a "Solo Leveling" ending where our MC brings everyone back alive before the Cataclysm happened. Where characters like Guizhong never died, or Makoto or Rukkadhevata.
