Thanks a lot. It helped us to solve the problem with turning iRobot backward in the circle. The issue was with bottom small rubber, which stuck and disable correct working in right bumper/sensor. The sensor was after activating still On.

Thanks so much! My robot stopped chargiing. I only had to run the test you are showing (broom mode) and it went back to notmal it was showing a red light and beeping every 20 minutes. After I run the test the blue light turned om showing that it was actually fully charged. Apparently it was reading the wrong code. Thanks, thanks!

I replaced my Mint’s battery with an aftermarket one. To start priming it, I ran it all the way down and things worked fine. Now, though, it won’t charge, and it doesn’t seems to be throwing any error codes. Any advice?

Got a mint 4200 second hand without a charger. Is there a good replacement charger? I plugged in a charger I had around the house, it makes a continuous beeping, any suggestions for that?

Diagnostics work in both modes, except the forward motion does not work. Any thoughts as to how I can fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I read on eBay that some people change out the batteries to make the Mint more powerful. My son said that could cause the internal wires to overheat but no one said anything about that. Do you have an opinion on that?

I don't think the amperage draw of the motor would exceed the wire rating. Just the charge will last longer.

Mine is charged, but pressing the two buttons for diagnostic mode does nothing. If I press the power button it gives me a negative beep. Is it dead?

My mint will NOT turn on any lights after trying this reboot. Before doing the reboot it was beeping an alarm but wouldn’t stop. It had the power button solid red light. Please help. Now there’s no lights at all. Thanks.

Gracee Espi Try removing the battery and connecting it again. Black screw on the bottom cover. Also try charging it. If it is your original battery it could be going bad and needs replacing.

How do you turn off diagnostic mode?? Mine was dead a while. Now when I charge it... it displays diagnostic mode two. It doesn't seem to charge.
