Mint Performance Turbo Manifold Review E30 M20 BMW

Mint Performance is trash. I wrote a detailed review of my interaction with Colton and this product on the E30 forced induction page. Bottom line is, do not buy these polished turds. I had to open up holes with a dremel, ran into the same nut clearance issues (even with reduced size flange nuts) T3 and runner flange was warped, runners were not welded all the way around on the inside to the flange, received warped V bands, and a NON back purged down pipe, that was packaged so shitty that it dinged up the 3” stainless tubing, and caught Colton (Mint Performance owner) in multiple lies. Just don’t buy it, trust me!

Hasn't warped from welding, Either the person who drew the artwork for the head flange plate stuffed up or the waterjet/laser cutter didn't cut to scale of the artwork. The issue was there before they even started. The spacing between holes is likely out 1mm and so by the time it reaches the last hole is 6mm out. Which makes sense why its picking up the first few.

I bought the ebay manifold that came for A 2 bolt on waste gate 38mm took it to my local shop had the cut that 38mm off and upgrade it to 44mm vband and relocated instead of going unde and behind the turbo had it go under front of the turbo came out great turbo haz space and the wastegate too

I just purchased two e30s one is a 4dr (325e) 5 speed thats gonna be the donor car for my 325es (2dr) so how reliable is the m20 with turbo? And how much power are you pushing my goal would be 500hp IF POSSIBLE. And also this is my very first project car, thanks! -jerome

Goes to show just because someone can weld, doesn't mean they can engineer a product. They should give you a full money back refund for that garbage.

Warranty repair? What kind of bullshit reply is that. He should refund you in full and/or pay the shipping to make it right. This is why I use a credit card when I make these purchases because there are so many fuck heads out there who try and swing this type of shit when it's 100% their fault. I'm sorry you had to deal with their bullshit. Nice engine bay!

They are local and very well known to stay away from them. They do shady work, get a refund and get a proper manifold. I banned them from the forum trying to sell that garbage.
