Agreed, I loved this band right from the rip..when people ("fans") fell off BECAUSE of this album I couldn't believe it. I still feel like those bastards just couldn't allow themselves to appreciate the pop sensibility that was (is) this masterpiece of an album. /rant

There's not a lot of bands I can think of where I like every single one of their songs on every one of their albums. You don't even need a skip button when you listen to these guys. One of my favorite bands of all time.

I saw them at The Crocodile in Seattle probably in 2017. They walked through the crowd a few minutes before the first band opened. It took me a minute to notice then said to guitarist, “Hey, Dave!” He responded, “Hey, what’s up man?” and shook my hand. Fast forward a few years later, I saw Jake the singer standing off side-stage before they opened for Incubus as a fill-in. He was waiting for a family member to show up. Nobody noticed him so I went up and he spent a few minutes talking with my brother and I. Some cool dudes who made sweet music!!

@bahajala very true, i can understand your point and where you're coming from. i will say that i was disappointed at the lack of time signature changes on omni, as opposed to some of their other albums. but at the same time i still do feel that they have that distinct and original sound going on. all i'm really saying is that even though omni is definitely not up there with menos el oso, it's still good music that i'm enjoying. i'll probably enjoy their next album regardless as well. lol
