Hey Dave, I've got a new faction idea for you. You should build a military base out in the Glowing Sea and fill it with pre-War military ghouls. When the bombs hit, the soldiers still manned their post and are still holding it 200 years later, as ghouls. Some went feral and are used as defenses. I call em the Army of the Damned. Maybe it was General Dave's old platoon before he was discharged for PTSD.

The sword in the painting is not a "Chinese flaming sword" it's a "Shishkebab sword". Keep up those tours Ranger Dave I really enjoy watching them.

I think he meant the chinese officer's sword, which I believe is a jian, not a katana.

I know that but what I meant was the Shishkebab which is what was in the picture is in Fallout built from a Katana and thus a flaming Japanese sword not Chinese. There is no Shishkebab in fallout that I recall which is made out of a chinese sword. I dont disagree with Bluer Sora I mearly am pointing to the mistake in the video being two fold, one is the weapons name as Bluer points out its a Shiskebab and the other is the Shiskebab isnt made from a Chinese sword thus the second error. as if he said Japanese flame sword he would have been closer then Chinese fire sword. Bluer wasnt wrong.

Watching this series has inspired me to take settlement creating more seriously. I've turned Red Rocket into a little fort and am building a courthouse at Sanctuary. Nothing two fancy just a two story building with a courthouse next to the town gallows.

24:30 Dave, counterfeit caps are totally a thing! In New Vegas you are at one point hired to destroy a caps machine that's being used to produce new caps. They've determined the caps are fake since they aren't aged at all and haven't been bent from being popped off a bottle!

Where most builders may only slightly enhance what's in a settlement, General Dave when he see's a workbench, turns all Borg. "Attention new settlement! Seeing the NCR poster always makes me wonder how the Minutemen under Dave would handle meeting the NCR. I mean, Dave's Commonwealth is pretty civilized, pretty advanced. But the NCR at the time of Fallout 2 was civilized enough to be minting their own coins. I'd figure nearly a hundred years down the line, they have to be pretty close to pre-war standards.

spencer settle The ncr is bigger and there is less rubble I would imagine also has a bigger territory more advanced weapona bigger military established law and order and is thousands of miles away from Massachusetts but if they meet up the ncr would win

@@prezmeji5641. Not entirely. History has proven that the biggest armies can often fall under lack of knowledge about the area they're in. The NCR's territory doesn't include much in the way of swampland and miles of forest. By contrast, the Minutemen thrive in Massachusetts and have been there for over a century, meaning they are used to the swamps, thick forests, and urban landscape of the Commonwealth.

the developers made the keys large like that for the player to spot them easily, if they were the normal key size they would be nearly impossible to find lol. and most keys are essential to have.

I saw the NCR picture in the Sheriff’s office. I think General Dave might have lead an expedition team to DC and found the train leading to Goodsprings (TTW mod for Fallout 3). That’s where he got the idea for the Western style.

Militarized Minutemen is awesome but I don't think the Vietnam-inspired uniforms and weapons fit well with General Dave's classic style Minutemen

Yea, you're probably right but it could be integrated into Dave's lore. For example the General found some dusty old outfits in the Secret Vault at Tenpiness Bluff, and made more of them using the conveyors in the Mechanist's Lair. Just sayin'

The entire infrastructure of the Minutemen Empire is held together by the sheer force of General Dave's will and personality. What will keep the different factions playing nice when he goes? Or, in a world where stolen Institute tech can make trees grow in sand, does Dave have an ace up his sleeve to give death the finger? There are plenty of examples of individuals with virtual immortality, ghouls being the most common.

I'm currently making a build that I really like,and was thinking that you could have an interesting take on it. I'm building a minuteman raider rehabilitation facility, where the minuteman patrols will take in captured raiders and then put them through therapy and psych exams until they can be integrated into society. Its a fun one to build. I'm building it at Tenpines Bluff, but it could be anywhere with enough space

I had an idea you could possibly do after this project, I was thinking of using Vault 88 into a full on pre-war military bunker. With surveillance rooms, armories, repair rooms, security rooms, and basically everything else that would be found in one. I was planning on doing it myself but I have no time to, so it would be really cool to see it happen and turn out good.

Vault 88 was originally turned into a Brotherhood of Steel remnant camp, but Dave killed almost everyone in there some years back.
