Today is 12/24 and these mornings of junk journaling all month have been one of the most rewarding parts of my holiday season this year. I saved as many envelopes from The Christmas cards i received so that I can do another junk journal - I thought having the writing and addresses and stickers as the background on the pages would be interesting and meaningful. Thank you Kelli, have wonderful holiday moments surrounded by all the people and things that make you feel love, comfort and joy.

I was telling my great niece and nephew about it and we are all going to collect things from the ‘big day’ tomorrow to start junk journals, so fun! They both spent time today doing zentangle too. Amazing, they are 8 and 6 years old. 😊🎄💚

This was so much fun. Thank you for the guidance and encouragement. I just wanted to tell you that I think it's so cool that you just put lights on your tree and didn't worry about the ornaments. For several years before my son was born, we just put lights on our tree and then as we collected Christmas cards, added those to the tree. It was the only way I could think of to display them during the holiday. Once my son was born, we continued that and then only added his yearly ornament to the tree. Once he started school, we added his school ornaments that he made every year. He is 10 now. I still don't decorate the tree; my son does it with his ornaments.

This was so much fun. I’m so glad I was able to get the kit. I got the same stamp with the same marking from the post office. I glued it to the bottom of the page that we just put papers on, but I cut more of the backside of the envelope so that when I tucked it in at the very bottom and glued it it opened up as a flap. I added a dangle to the inside of that that hangs down with little stones and a bead from one of my mother’s necklaces on it. And I found so many things to add to my journal and put into the envelope. So much fun and so many memories. Thank you for doing this, it was fun, relaxing, and very enjoyable. I can’t wait for your next kit! May you and your family have a Merry Christmas. Bundles of blessings to you. ❤

Or, maybe even adding to my December journal. I decided not to put a tree up. First time in over 50 years! I did put out my Christmas Village though, and a few other Christmas decorations. She loves it and wants to purchase a very special box wherein she will keep it.
