Dami was the youngest here with 17, Yoohyeon was like 18, Siyeon 20 and both Sua and Jiu with 21.... Dreamcatcher used to get embarrased of their dark past, well PinK past lol.... but recently, and please watch it, in the Maison comeback, Dami played both of their Minx songs and they just had fun dancing and singing, finally embracing their past as just a stage on their career, Sua specially went crazy lol... Everyone except Siyeon lol, there is an inside joke that if Minx ever had a hate club, Siyeon would have been the president...

What's kind of funny, is that "Love Shake" is actually a remake of a B-Side track from HappyFace's earlier girl group: Dal Shabet. I think HappyFace had hopes that the song would have done better as a single, so they tweaked the song a little and gave it to Minx.

it's in 2014 and 2015 this concept "cutie / sexy " was trendy back then many group as that concept EXID ,SISTAR ,AFTER SCHOOL ,GIRLS DAY , etcc . and that was the fire competition . i remember this years 100 new group début that was to hard many group disband after only 2 years and many agency want to made a kpop group . with this group we can see even more how amazing vocal's they're but i agree this concept was to much sexy for no reason . i can't even understand how DAMI can manage that XD . but both songs are very catchy .

the way you are surprised about the sexy moves is hilarious xD Just for for future references, It was 2014, so 2nd generation's concepts were still more present in the industry and at the time sexy concepts were wide spread (like, AOA, EXID, Sistar, some Girls' Genaration title tracks, T-ara, Stellar, Dalshabet [seniors of Minx, and subsequentionally Dreamcatcher] and many other groups) so hence this, the sexy-cute concept were also popular, so in the mind of Happyface producers Minx were intended to be like a cute-sexy group like Sistar (I am pretty sure they wanted to follow the 'Touch My Body' aesthetic, which is more present in their comeback 'Love Shake' - which is also a Dalshabet cover). While 'Why Did You Come To My Home?' has a tomboyish concept mixed with sexiness, the comeback is a perfect mix of 2014/2015 summer trends! Hope this helps to understand the trends in the industry better

Yeah, I really love WDYCTMH but the video is super cringe because Yoohyeon and Dami are 17 and Siyeon is 18. Those shots didn't even make sense for the concept they were doing so it just feels super gratuitous. But, other than that, the songs were bangers, name me another group whose debut stage had their main vocalist hitting whistle notes live? Unfortunately, MINX was from a smaller company trying to make it with a concept that every other girl group was doing at the time. That's why HappyFace changed their concept so drastically, hoping they could get their group of incredibly talented artists to just stand out amongst the crowd. I'm just so happy we, as a society, did not miss out on the opportunity to perceive these amazing women!

Every song both main and B-sides are all good. Dreamcatcher/MINX has no bad songs. At the time most of of the girls were under age and uncomfortable with the butt shots taken and the girls didn't like that, so when they pulled MINX off the market, the fired all the staff and hired all new staff that makes Dreamcatcher today... Summer Holiday album has some of the MINX style and could have been a MINX album. 👍🙂👍

The problem with Minx was Happyface trying to replace Dalshabet with a similar group. When Dalshabet never really had much success. Though Dreamcatcher can still go full Minx when they want to. Just go checkout the Millenasia Project MV... LOL

The songs were certified bops however at the time of MINX, they were competing with some pretty huge girls groups who came out around the same time with similar concepts. For instance.....a little girl group called Twice lol. There was really no competing with that haha. Becoming DC was the best thing that has ever happened.

Wow I paused at JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT in order to type... Anyway, since Gahyeon was never in the group while they were called Minx, that makes Dami the Maknae here. She and Yoohyeon were both still only Seventeen years old at the time of debut (September 22). SOMEWHERE on the internet, there is a fan video of when Siyeon had her birthday in 2014 (October 1), she cried when JiU set up a little party for her. Siyeon was NOT EXPECTING anybody in the group to do that for her because they had only debuted two weeks before that. It's cute but I have only seen it one single time and I forget whose video it is. Maybe still searchable... Great reaction! :)

Minx didn't make it because when they were trying to break out they were competing with powerhouse girl groups who all had very similar styles like Red Velvet, Twice and Gfriend. Coming from a small company like Happyface they had little to no chance making it. Also, about your concerns about age. Dami, the maknae of Minx was 17 when they debuted. All the other members were 18 or over.

they were the juniors of DAL*SHABET, what can you expect by their first concept, before they become DREAMCATCHER. and MiNX has been debuted, supposed to replace DAL*SHABET, using their senior styles, for the legacy and tribute to DAL*SHABEBT, before it got disbanded. but unfortunately, MiNX got disbanded first, before their senior does...how pathetic...and oh, Siyeon was so aggressive at this moment, using her vocal to be uncontrolled. not like today, she mostly controlling it.
