@@kidd0532aa didn't answer the question. In the first place, why would you want to sign a contract with other companies when YG can literally give you a lot more? The answer is freedom. She wanted to utilize her talent more which YG never gave her the chance to. She never debuted as a solo artist under YG while the other members did. In addition, though she was the main dancer, YG never gave justice to her actual dancing skills because 2ne1 choreo was too basic for her.
