Few things have to be kept in mind. Firstly, only two policemen were injured during that intense shootout whereas scores of Murtaza Bhutto's guards were killed which points the indicator to the probable theory of a planned police encounter. Who fired the first shot and why the lights of the area were shut-out instantly? What pieces of evidence were later collected from the incident scene and what happened to their forensic reports? One of the injured policemen was later found dead in his room under mysterious circumstances who definitely knew much more about the assassination of Murtaza Bhutto and thus was eliminated. Not even a single policeman was later implicated and sentenced by any court of law related with this incident. In fact many of the officers that participated in this encounter were later given prompt promotions and rewards. More than 24 years have passed and this case is still unresolved that says a lot about the intent and resolve of the investigating and judicial authorities of Pakistan. To me, it was a planned operation of police and ISI that wanted to eliminate the dead-wood of Murtaza for some varied reasons.

A person who had a fight with his brother in-law, tried to made his own PPP party .... killed by Sindh police under direct control of Government of Sindh Govt. ... provided that her sister was in power in Sindh and center. while all the promotions that police officers got was under the PPP government ... اس قتل میں سازش جیت گئی ، پولیس کہتی ہے مرتضی بھٹو نہایت سخت مزاج اور ہر وقت مسلح گارڑز کے ہمراہ نکلتے تھے ع پھر یوں راستے میں روکنا تصادم ہی ہوا تھا لیکن چونکہ پولیس اس کیلئے پہلے سے تیار تھی اسی لئے محض 2 پولیس والے زخمی ہوئے جبکہ دوسری جانب کئی مرے و زخمی ہوئے حالانکہ وہ بھی خودکار اسلحہ سے مسلحہ تھے

Look at the list of so called " Co-Incidences" 1. No intenstion to open fire, but opened. 2. In firing only Bhutto,'s side teams casualties observed. No casualty from police team. 3. At same time lights got off. 4. Mid east hospital was not capable of treating such injuries even then he bhutto was sent there. 5. Mideast though so called "capable to treat injuries", surprisingly it was even not capable of giving him First Aid as could not even stop bleeding. 6. Police officer that was eye witness and filed FIR found dead right withing a week of Bhutto's martyr and surprisingly in his own secure place.

Sadly this story also smells fishy. He was left to bleed to death for two and a half hour in a hospital devoid of emergency treatment facilities , though he could be shifted to JPMC which is not more than 30 minutes drive . These are dark and unfortunate events in our history which would never be revealed
