Was the steering wheel made of wood from the beginning?

Yes it was an original option from Daihatsu and was there from the begining. Some other wood panels I purchase on Yahoo auction are also original parts from Daihatsu removed from scrapped Mira Gino. When Daihatsu release this model it came with a lot of options to make it more "mini" look like.
