I have just finished this book nook. How does the touch controls work it seems to be constantly on

does the battery box have a on/off switch? if yes, turn it off and then use the touch control, it should work

What glue do you use. I bought a kit that didn't come with glue and I'm not sure which kind to buy

always test the lights before installing, check the batteries as well. If it still doesn't work, I have some links in the description where to buy them from,for battery box and lights
