Miracle in the Storm - Journey of Hope: My Leukemia Story - Blood Cancer

In episode 6, I share my personal journey battling leukemia-a journey filled with unexpected challenges and incredible moments of hope. After being diagnosed, my doctors initially recommended a stem cell transplant, but a deeper look into my bone marrow biopsy changed everything. Thankfully, I didn't need the transplant, and instead, I went through several rounds of chemotherapy.
There were ups and downs, including a life-threatening infection that I barely survived, but the support of my family and a few miracles kept me going. I talk about the joy of being in remission, spending Easter with my loved ones, and even getting the chance to attend a Brad Paisley concert-something that felt like a dream after everything I’d been through.
But as I was finding my way back to a more normal life, another challenge hit our family. My mother began experiencing severe memory issues, which was heartbreaking for us all. This journey hasn't been easy, but I'm sharing my story in the hopes that it might help or inspire someone going through a similar battle. Thank you for watching and supporting me along the way. 🙏
