@@vanessakeller4543 I can only speak for myself, but many years ago when I was introduced to Nam myoho renge kyo I was a young adult having been raised as a Christian. So I sincerely, really really sincerely, prayed and told God I was only trying to get closer to the divine and that if what I was doing wrong to understand my heart and my intent. Years later I now know Buddhism does not contradict the teachings of Christ, they complement each other and you will be amazed at the overlap. I think for my journey Buddhism explains the nagging questions I had more fully and has helped me grow as a person. Good luck and may your own journey be fruitful as well as joyful.

wow I just did this for the first time for 30 mins. I had to stop because I had this overwhelming feeling of relaxation, I just had to lay down and take a nap. the thing is I have a hard time sleeping, I've gone up to 4 days with no sleep and it's the most horrible feeling to want to sleep and not being able to, it made me hallucinate from the exhaustion and I couldn't eat. this chanting was so good for me. thank you
