Cho Chikun is my favourite legend. A very natural player who can find clever, creative moves where none seem to exist. A classic rule breaker. Great commentary - really insightful. THANKS!

Just had your channel show up in my recommendations today after watching one of Cho Chikun's games as a newly interested player! You seem like a wonderful teacher and I can't wait to learn all about the game from you :)

Thank you for this commented game ! A perfect example of Aji usage and when the time is right to back off from a fight. Cho chikun is also one of my favorite player so i'm always happy to see a review of his game. PS : you made me forget that he won the game, you could have been an actor lol !

27:00 -- how the hell do you read that all out in boyomi? Cho Chikun is a magician!!! I love this guy. Reads like that make people admire him. It's easy to see how he was on top of the go world from the late 70's to late 80's. This guy's prime must have been scary. Just to let people know, he was doing this world championship at the age of 47. That's way past your prime! Imagine if the 26 or 20 year old Cho Chikun was in there with Park...no chance at all for the kid!

He had quite a few sente moves for free before, probably using all that time for reading. Plus, it was his only option or resign. Lastly, his reading only had to be slightly better than his opponent’s.

@@BadukDoctor exactly, I don't know if it was a good translation. Another example move 78 Lee Sedol vs Alpha Go, match 4. ^^ I would like to be able to play at your level someday, you are genius.

great commentary of an awesome game, thank you! i love how cho used L13; really squeezed *all* the value from this stone. it was replied to initially to preserve b's potential, then made the connect @k19 slightly better (imo, at least), then finally comes back to be crucial in the aji that wins him a game he was behind in. some mistakes are used better than others!

You should consider adding links in reference to older videos. you can do it after publishing too. I'm not sure what video you refer to for that N17 invasion.

Wow. Black must have wanted to cry when he saw 184, even though we all know, "I can cut a knight's move."
