This is my interpretation when sir was talking about mercury replacing saturn and moon replacing Jupiter he was talking about a planet's natural strength replacing by planet's actual strength in sthana baal Natural strength of planets in ascending order(bphs)- 7.Saturn 6.mars 5.mercury 4.jupiter 3.venus 2.moon 1.sun Actual strength of planets in this chart in sthana baal- 7.mercury 6.sun 5.venus 4.moon 3.mars 2.saturn 1.jupiter As you can see in this chart saturn being lowest in natural strength was replaced by mercury thus saturn(profession) acquires the qualities of mercury. Moon also replaced Jupiter being at 4th position in strength in sthana baal. Note:- When sir was showing the D10 technique he was talking about vimsopaka baal of dasa varga(D10) not the shadbala.
