The reason for not revealing identities is that if one is akumatized, then they can not reveal anyone else's identity. As long as the Butterfly miraculous is missing or in a villains hands, it is better to keep the secrets. Don't forget why Luca had to leave.

I only started watching this series about 2 weeks ago, and now I have finished all 5 seasons. I love the storyline and the relationships between the characters, but I agree they should reveal their true identity to each other. Especially cat noir and ladybugs, it would help their relationship grow more stronger and they wouldn't have to worry about keeping each other safe. The ancient holders of the miraculous did not keep their identities hidden from each other and in the last episodes the other holders from around the world did not hide their identities from each other and their team work was amazing.

Now that Ladybug has the snake miraculous, she could try to tell each holder she trusts her identity to see how they react, then, if it’s a negative reaction or if she wants to take it back, she could try to use the second chance and not tell them at all (she’d have to tell them quickly though). But in my opinion, I feel like it is better to keep their identities a secret, because it would be safer so they can keep acting and stuff… so yea 😆❤️

Allow me to share my theories and thoughts: FACT: Adrien and Marinette are now a couple. FACT: Gabriel, no matter what he calls himself has been defeated. This means that Ladybug, and Cat Noir WILL reveal their secret identities to each other. Couples strongly in love with each other like Marinette and Adrien don't keep those kinds of secrets from each other. They will both be relieved to know each other's identities and not have to keep secrets anymore. Also, this will make them a stronger team, with more incentive for each to look out for and protect the other. While, on many levels this will be a good thing, it will also be a MISTAKE, and a very big one at that. Ladybug and Cat Noir will reveal their secret identities to each other because Gabriel has been defeated. (I'm not gonna bother with using all the alias' of Gabriel) However, they have foolishly let their guard down, not even realizing that anybody could've recovered the missing butterfly miraculous. We all know it was Lila/Cerese or whatever she calls herself who recovered the butterfly miraculous, and will soon be known as Chrysalis. When Chrysalis figures out that Ladybug and Cat Noir are Marinette and Adrien, she will use that information to cause further chaos in Paris. It will make for some very interesting seasons, starting with season six, and this fan can't wait to see what happens next.

Idk, I think it would be fine for just the team to know each other’s identities, including Ladybug and Cat Noir, to avoid slip ups of information amongst them like in Risk (season 4.) Ladybug would be smart enough to keep their identities from the public even with Gabriel, which means anyone who might happen to have the broach (she knows its missing). Any scenario the show showed us of their knowledge of each other's identities involved slip-ups and Gabriel finding out, and therefore akumatizing his own son--but that was really the only time he would have been akumatized. Marinette was mostly almost akumatized because of love problems, which are solved now that she has Adrien, and would likely only be solved further once she realizes he's cat noir. Aside from that, I think they've both grown up a lot and mastered their emotions enough to avoid akumatization altogether, regardless of the reason for it. If they all have no secrets or lies, they will be more united and clear-headed, able to keep their secrets from the public and keep from being akumatized, and will have a better chance to take down Lila. Hopefully Lila, being wickedly smart, will still make it fun to watch, though 😎

I know Chloe can't be queen bee anymore but sometimes I've been having this hunch that she might redeem herself at the end of the season! Unfortunately that's just not the case! I think that chat noir deserves to know the secret identities of the heros who got theire miraculouses from ladybug. but in my opinion, him knowing LADYBUGS identity is too dangerous. because now Lila is the next villain and she has become "friends" with everyone who has a miraculous. so if ladybug and chat noir find out each other's identities,they would be so obvious that Lila can figure out and maybe she's gonna use the others to manipulate them and somehow use them to trap adrien and marrinete since they already know Lila is a lier. it would also be dangerous because we saw hints like chat blanc, the one where gabriel had the cat miraculous and throwed marrinete in the cinema (i don't remember the episodes name)etc... about what would have happend I they found out each other's identities. which none of them really have a good ending. I also saw some people saying that if ladybug gave them a miraculous, they would ask her secret identity. but In my opinion, that's really not the best thing you can do when ladybug offers you an miraculous. bc If you say that to her, she will def lose trust in you, and she prob won't even answer you're question. and you can trust her without knowing her identity because she saved Paris multiple times and is loved by everyone who has common sense (unlike lie-la). so yeah, all this to say that I agree with half of this video👀🖒

But everytime Cat Noir / Adrien got akumatized by Hawk Moth / Monarch this was due to Gabriel knowing Cat Noir was Adrien and he could control him because of his ring. Adrien was just not able to disobey his father. I don’t think the same thing would happen with Lila / Cerise. And we’ve seen how Luka prevented himself from being akumatized because of his wish to protect Ladybug and Cat Noir. And Alix, Luka, Alya, Kagami and Felix already know Ladybug’s true identity. Even Su-Han was surprised that Ladybug didn’t know Cat Noir’s identity. I think it was important for the story that Gabriel didn’t know Adrien was Cat Noir. That’s why Cat Noir wasn’t present in the final battle. But I don’t think that they’ll let them reveal their identities to one another just to keep things complicated in the series. 🙄 Or at the end of season 6 something really bad happens that could have been prevented if they knew their identities so Ladybug decides to reveal her identity to Cat Noir. Just like she had to loose all the other miraculouses in order to entrust them to their holders permanently.

That's not completely right. The Snake Miraculous can only jump to one point in time that previously had to be marked. Meanwhile, the Rabit Miraculous can freely travel through all of time past and future. The Goat and Ladybug Miraculous can both create items, but the difference is that one of them can intentionally create a non magic item, while the other creates a random magical item that will help in that specific situation and can repair anything that has been destroyed if it relates to that specific incident.

I would like for Chat Noir to know the superheroes secret identities apart from ladybug. Ladybug already knows everyone but his secret identity, i feel it would be fair for the both of them so he knows where to find them. I don't believe that all of the superheroes should know everyone's secret identity because there is the risk of being akumatized by Lila/Cerise or whatever she calls herself now. We know from the end scenes of the finale that she has the butterfly miraculous and enrolled at Francis Dupont High school again under the name Cerise. She is an excellent liar because she had everyone believe Marinette pushed her down the stairs and got Marinette expelled for a brief period of time. She has a few different identities so she can reappear multiple times if her cover gets blown.
