These are great.. I bought one of these months ago and I've always used it. I'm pretty good at folding clothes; however, I have OCD when comes to different shapes. This device is very helpful as a guide and it's amazing for consistency. I've seen a clear difference when it came to my closet because having all my t-shirts being thesame relative size really gives it a clean look when stacked on top of eachother. As you use it more, you get better at knowing the do's and dont's. Also, by itself the fold is only "acceptable" but as you get used to it, you'll be able to fix the imperfections of the folds relatively quick and easily making each fold quite consistent. However, you guys are correct.. it's only good when used on t-shirts really.. Moreover, I would avoid anything with a collar like a polo shirt. Anyways, great video as always. Thanks!

I would like to point out that products like the ones reviewed may not be "the best" for people like you or me, they find an unheard niche with those with limited mobility, physical disabilities or the elderly. Think how difficult and time consuming would be for a one armed person or a heart-attack survivor to fold the same amount of clothes you did? Think about a person who finds themselves trying to make everything neat for their soul mate who is now incapable of doing any house chores? Suddenly, these "silly products" are a gift from God. You ladies have an audience. Great! I hope that you can expand your horizons and cinsider all people (not just women like yourselves) in your reviews. I used to laugh at products like these (looking at you, banana auto-slicer!) until I witness an old man making breakfast WITH his now disabled wife, her contribution being cutting up two bananas. I still laugh at the products... but I now understand their true purpose and audience. Anyhow, thanks for the review. Glad you did not got elbowed nor a black eye. I've been using the original infomercial FlipFold since the early 1990s. It's built like the angel fold. The plastic seams are still holding up great as well. I only use it for shirts, and a little wrinkle or sleeve that needs to be tucked in is not an issue. Towels and pants don't save time or aid in stacking. The best thing isn't that it saves time, it might for me since I never really learned to fold the old fashion way, and I'm good at it, no the best thing is having a perfect stack of shirts that you fit nicely into a closet organizer drawer. Just as an aside for the college student/bachelor/newbie : fold your shirts the minute the dryer buzzes, even if you use one of these folding devices you'll still have wrinkles if you procrastinate.

I never sit while folding laundry. It's because the laundry never comes out as smooth. I think their sitting position isn't good for folding laundry whether they had a board or not. Always stand to fold laundry, and use a nice surface that fits the size of the laundry you're folding.

I'm OCD and bought one of these years ago. It was horrible. I spent several hours making my own that fit my sizing (and my drawers sizing) much better and it works great. I do have to straighten a little here and there before making the next fold, but it works great, not the wrinkles as shown in what you are doing, and everything is the same nice size in my drawers. I double mine over again so they fit vertically. I use it on leggings as well, but fold them differently than what you show. I have my own way of folding towels, so I don't use the board for that. I do use it for long sleeves, sweaters, t-shirts, nightgowns, dresses, etc.

You're right about kids especially if they watch Big Bang Theory. Sheldon has been using a folding helper on the show. considering how many issues you found with them I wonder how a person with autism is supposed to like using it. On the show it is supposed to make his folding neater than the others and show how particular he is about folding clothing. I appreciate you reviewing this. I don't think I'd asked but I'd wondered about the product many times. I wonder if the clothes pins are supposed to help you hold the clothing to the floding helper. The floding helper seems to need a little help in that area on some items of clothing.

From my experience, all of these WORK, but I've found none are perfect. What I've done is make my own (there are videos of how to do this on YT) and no problems since. The key is to measure your drawers so you know exactly what size you want your clothes to end up being, and then make the folder to fit that. This way you can have as many rows as will really fit in your drawers perfectly. You also have to take into account your clothing size. I am very tiny (4'11, skinny) so my clothes are very simple to fold. For my parents (plus-size), the clothes are a lot larger and I had to make a separate one for their clothes. This is just what works for me.

The original Flip Fold Jr. Was like the store's folding the shirts uniformly. They came out perfect, even and took up much less space, much like the adjustable one, says it will do. I came to see how to adjust because the one I recently purchased makes the clothes much bigger folded, like the hand folded shirts shown. I used my Flip fold Jr for years and it's wearing down to break soon. When my husband started to fold shirts he started using my original and loves it. Then my son got older and cared more about his shirts and started using it. I just can't find one comparable to the size and quality of the original Flip Fold Jr. If only the one that says it's adjustable would adjust right. I'd be happy. But there's no way to adjust it without it making the shirts folded without line marks in the shirts. I love a crisp line folded shirt.

What a waste of money. I still iron all my clothes and I am a freak about folding. Since I’ve been ironing and folding since I was like 10 years old, I’m 63 now, I can fold perfect towels in my sleep. If a tee shirt is well made (not all out of shape) I can fold them quickly. Husband won’t let me fold button shirts, hang only. The way you fold things depends on your space. Over the years I have changed the way I fold my towels, etc. because the storage space was a different size. Kids just need to learn life skills. I consider folding and ironing two of them. When I was a younger mom supplemented our income by ironing. My daughters and son are very glad they learned to iron and fold. Love you girls you make me smile😀

For normal people who don’t get super offended if the sleeve of the T-shirt is slightly messed up or if the tag is perfectly centered, these folding boards are awesome. They make folding laundry way faster and they give me way more uniform results regardless of the T-shirt size. They can be used to fold pillowcases, towels, pants, you name it. And you end up with a flatter more uniform folding product even if you are not super detail oriented like these ladies. If you don’t mind spending an hour folding one laundry basket of clothes and clothing, then don’t use these boards. Do it by hand and bring a ruler out to make sure everything is with 100% scientific precision like these ladies seem to want. For mere mortals who hate laundry and hate folding, these folding boards are amazing. Guess what? I don’t mind putting my clothing away. It’s all the folding that is boring as hell and give us crappy results. This folding board I bought for like $11 on Amazon does the job. It’s awesome. Buy one.

They are nice, but I still do it the old fashion way. Clothes comes out the drier, I immediately sort what needs hanging and what needs to go into drawers.

I bought one of the generic ones and received it today, it was terrible, it kept unclipping and was way too small, it's going back tomorrow!

I think I could fold a lot faster without this product. Great review!

I built a floder from scrap cardboard/duct tape. It still works after years and cost nothing to make. I call it "the Sheldon"

Are you purposely trying to do it wrong??? I have been using the Miracle Fold for YEARS and mine come out perfect. I first learned using this when I worked for a retail clothing store. I think you are purposely trying to make it look like a bad item but its actually amazing. My daughter also does it perfect and actually enjoys folding clothes because of this folder.

I’m glad you like it, it just wasn’t for us. I would have no reason at all to make the product purposely look bad. I’m an Amazon affiliate and it would actually benefit me to love the product. My reviews are just my opinion, you don’t have to agree. I’m sure there are products out there that you don’t like but I do.

2¢ Chick You may be an Amazon affiliate..who isn’t these days? We all are. But amazon doesn’t make the product, so affiliate or not..has no bearing and getting pennies off a product that may happen through your channel is nothing to get excited about. So the point you tried to make clearly is mute. Still remains a bad review. This brand also is the most used by retail stores nation wide. So must be doing something right.

Retail fold: fold 1 sleeve to the opposite side of a line directly under the collar. Repeat for other sleeve. Fold the bottom approximate 1/3 of the the shirt up to where the sleeves are then fold in half.

Talking about OCD -- the first time I saw this thing was on TBBT with Sheldon using it in the laundry room. As OCD as he is? LOL LOL LOL

I don't have one, but I could use one, I like how small the clothes had folded. 9 bucks is a decent price. My wife is just like you two, If it is not folded perfectly she has to redo it. She folds clothes and watches her Hallmark movies and mysteries channel. Plus she couldn't stand the folding our kids and I were doing. Oh well, I may pick one up. Great Job on the video. Both of you take a deep breath and Relax. Clear your minds of wrinkled clothes. Be Safe, Have a Wonderful day.

We like your wife! 😀 I haven’t had my kids fold clothes, I know I would have a hard time with that. Maybe we need a support group. 😜 Have a great day!
