A very appropriate musical metaphor for the games. Doom 2016 had to give its all to prove its -mettle- metal to the world, and damn did it ever. With Doom Eternal we all knew exactly what we were getting, so just jump in with both feet and enjoy the Hell out of it.

There is one, who resides within the streams of the soul, With a heart beating with screams and tendon strings strung with metal, He who's sounds forever echo within the hearts man, With every hit, it grows louder and stronger, a rolling cascade; an altar to the song, He is unyielding to those who do not listen, He will seep in the sturdiest of armor, And when you think he is gone, When the echo becomes a whisper, He comes rolling forth, with momentum unseen, but heard to those who listen, and he will never stop, Until it heard by all, known to all, Shred and Tear, until it is done.

Actually killing demons is kid of exorcism. You just stop waiting till they arrive to Earth. BTW I wonder what happens to demon killed in Hell. They respawn in Hell? Or just fade away?

I've been waiting for this for weeks, wondering, "what's Gav gonna do with this one?" After hearing the results, my verdict: another example of Miracle of Sound perfection. Keep up the awesome work, buddy! Side request: I wonder what you could do with Blasphemous? I feel like that game plus your metal would be a match made in heaven.

Someone *PLEASE* make a custom version where this song and Hell To Pay play together seamlessly. Like for instance This song continues on until the last "BOOM! BOOM" then Hell To Pay starts from the "CLICK! CLICK" part in the very beginning. Imagine how badass it would be!!!
@thrall8984 жыл бұрын
I will never get tired of your ability to make songs that are similar yet different. Songs bout the same game/series that share a number of key traits and refrains (click click boom boom/some things never change/justice runs in crimson rivers etc.) and yet each is a notably different song showing a different side of the setting. It creates almost a sense of universe within the songs, that one can identify a world by the traits that all of its songs share.

given how relatively high the vocals were, the song sounded weirdly happy to me. i´m not yet sure if that´s the kind of emotion i´d affiliate with the doomslayer. but as a song by itself it´s still really fucking good!
