Fr Mark. Please pray for complete healing of my sister Suzanne in Sudbury. She’s been in the hospital now 12 days for severe abdominal pain and the doctors can’t find the issue. I’m praying for complete healing. Every test that has been done ends up negative and the doctor at one point said to her there was something there but I can’t find it anymore. I will testify to the miracle being made when she leaves completely healed. She has had cancer so of course they are looking for more cancer. Please everyone say a prayer for Suzanne. God bless all.

I love this story of St. Philip. My experience is a bit different whenever the Holy Spirit Speaks........ In the beginning or midst of prayer, either morning, early night time ( in my backyard) and during midnight prayer , a SOFT touch ( I could literally FEEL the touch and motion and movement in my heart and not the ordinary movement from the heartbeat/palpitation).It touches the heart in the MOST tender way.Then the vision follows and then, the revelation from the Holy Spirit comes next. His presence brings me that Undescribable PEACE ( just like the PEACE I felt on the night of my anointing when I fell down to the church floor and lay there for 20 minutes or so.His presence bring that Unending Joy/Happiness and contentment in life because I know that he's ALWAYS within me. Let his presence brings EACH of you PEACE, JOY and CONTENTMENT in your CHRISTian life.

Amazing man of faith. God used him. St Philip. There was a pastor David Mainse who had an 1.5 hr daily christian tv program in the 1970s/80s and his co host was a Catholic priest. There is a world wide protestant channel and they have on a 1/2 hour Catholic priest tv program !!! Yes Catholics who love Christ also know protestants who love Christ and protestants that love Christ know Catholics who love Christ are brothers and sisters !!! In God's family. a very great man of God that died this past month was Rev. Ernest Angley. He had rhe 9 gifts of rhe Holy Spirit that just flowed out of him. Everyone who was prayed by him God gave a Word of Knowledge and then healing or miracles happened. Jesus is so good to those who love and dedicate themselves to Him. Aggressive teaching means........the preacher/Pastor/Priest is teaching Jesus Gospel in a direct, bold, blunt and honest manner, either the listener/s like it or not.It teaches that hard core TRUTH, that hard-to-the-ears and-discomfort-to-the-flesh kind of teaching, because THAT is how Jesus preached his gospel and so were his disciples.that's what NARROW GATE is all about. Passive teaching.....means, the Pastor/Priest is teaching the gospel with a TWIST, to make the Gospel sound easy-to-the-ears and-so-comforting-to-the-flesh.When it's being preached, it does not accept or allow what happens or what others do, without any active response or resistance. So, when a Pastor/Priest preaches such instant gratification to the flesh/comforting -to-the-flesh -kind-of-doctrine and when someone whose been taught in an aggressive manner, the preacher will not accept or allow such response or opposition.He/she will defend his/her Passive teaching because one evident reason.......that Pastor/Priest is a LUKEWARM teacher.A 50/50% pastor/Priest.A God and Men pleaser of which a church leader can not and should not do. Either you're for GOD or You're for MEN. The person can not teach and can not please BOTH,since one has to be serve with Fleshly food, while the other has to be serve with spiritual food.

That is great but are you stating that all other Christians who are not Catholic are not true Christians that can be filled with the Holy Spirit?

I can't speak for Fr Goring but I don't think that he is saying that. Yes, the Catholic Church has the fullness of Truth but we can't put God in a box and the Holy Spirit blows where He wills.

The more we open to the Holy Spirit thé more He makes our heart grow... The more we love God, the more we want to grow in His Love. Christ gives Himself to us in His Sacraments, by His Church. Christ is the Fountain of Life. He also rains His Mercy on the deserts. If you can grow a tiny patch of flowers for God in the desert, that is beautiful. But we are all called to the Fountain of living Water, the Mystical Body of Christ on earth, His Catholic Church. If you were in the desert, and were invited to live beside the Fountain of Living Water, would you feel insulted???

@@theresab7118 Good to hear that from yourself but I don't know how widespread this opinion and feeling is amongst many Catholics. Many do seem to think they are the only special chosen ones and don't accept Christians from outside the Church and behave as if they cannot be a true Christian and be filled with the Holy Spirit or even go to Heaven. That hurts me and I know it is not the truth.

it seems these so called men of Christ seem to love the sin of lust for power and comfort and stuff. we need these Cardinals and Bishops to give a simple life

Cardinals are indeed Princes . . . they are Princes of the Roman Church . . . & they possess a dignity commensurate with their eminent office which requires a certain life style which is perfectly legitimate. . . a life style which should not be that of WORLDLINESS. . . . but one of austerity. . . The word cardinal is a the Latin word meaning "hinge" for example, the CARDINAL VIRTUES. It true that some Cardinals of the Church do not live according to their eminent position, perhaps because they live a life of LUXURY which is Inappropriate.

Addendum: To sum up the above, I am for Cardinals living in grand residences, provided that in their personal & private lives the live with austerity & holiness. The Catholic Church is not a MINIMALIST Church.
