I hate the way Ladybug is portrayed as the leader and Cat Noir is the poor damsel that needs saving, like the whole making female heroes that kick ass is so overdone! I want to see equal female leads, Marinette can’t always be rescuing Adrien, they are a team and he’s shown he’s loyal and trustworthy many times. They should have become more of a partnership by now. And if I never see another episode with someone getting akumatised and de-evilised again, I’d be very happy… Also, the movie would have been perfect if there had been a little less singing and a lot more storyline.

The whole thing is made to a Formula.. but I agree they could show the "end" of the battle (like the one n the Clip show Stormy Weather II and then use the rest for development.. heck every other show ever has had a "Beach Episode" and people usually like those.

Yes, like I’ve always wanted a flashback episode where we get to see Gabriel, Nathilie, Emily, etc. when they found the butterfly and peacock miraculous. Like, there is so much information that was left out about the Agreste that a flashback episode could fill.

​@izzyedits1409 I wonder why they did not do this. We had feast with was Master Fu and the box but we were never explained the Tibet stuff with gabreil and Emily. Why were they theire and how did they find out the miraculous were a thing? Evolution touched on it but it felt like a missing story in season 5. Safari touched on it also from Natalie's perspective with the photos but a flashback episode would been fun. Miraculous has a lore issue where the thing you expect them to do goes the wrong way. Season 5 finale should had adrein but he was dismissed.

I rly thought the show was going to give her a redemption arc and show a more hopeful message of how people can improve themselves. A lot of people left after season 3/4 due to poor writing decisions and mishandling of characters. Not to mention season 5's controversial ending. Not to mention Thomas being kinda problematic. And the lore is so confusing and hard to follow, it's kinda difficult to watch passively. Not to mention Cat Noir's terrible treatment, Marinette being a borderline Mary Sue, the dissolving of other love square ships, and the fact that we still haven't gotten a reveal despite adrienette being together. The show is objectively bad quality and subjectively frustrating to watch.

For me it was when they took so long to get together and then in the final battle they didn’t even include Chat Noir. Especially after everything going down in season 4 that they’ll work together and trust each other to end up sweeping him under the rug.

They ruined it by making Marinette and Adrien like each other without them knowing their secret identities. It might be cliche that their love would only be mutual if they knew both their identities but that was the main reason that made people watch the show in the first place. This weird love square dynamic is what most people kept tuning in to see more of, so what should've happened was to wait until the reveal for them to realize their love. But now we are just watching this dynamic without them knowing and it's just underwhelming, it doesn't feel right imo. The show has a lot of writing problems that we all know of: lack of character progressions with an unnecessarily large cast which results in hollow characters just to fill the amount of miraculous there are, inconsistent statements, attitudes and decision making by everyone. It pains me that there was so much more potential that was just not accounted for by the writing team.

They have to break them up romantically, do the Lila plot. tank a bunch of secret identities and Make Marinette even more ridiculously powerful I guess. Thomas Claims Adrien won't ever find out he's not a real boy, but then why bother with that plot at all then ? Heck season 5 is really vague on if Marinette even understood what Felix was telling her not just about him but Adrien too. As she certainly didn't react to Adrien being a fake, and her dialogue at the end of the season can be taken either way. Perhaps the brave thing to do is dissolve Adrien and make Lukanette endgame. (Anime does that all the time after all)

I remember Miraculous was so big around 2018 - 2021 but there was just too much of a wait for season 4 that the fandom just left not to mention how bad season 4 was. Season five completely ruined Adrien because the writers only care for Mari-sue or trying to make us like Zoé ( who is so irrelevant 😒 ) and not about actually making a good story.

Cristina v the voice actor for ladybug/Marinette said that they haven’t worked on for the voice acting on season 6 because they’re are working on another project for miraculous which might be the new special.

The problem is they make one season and then stop have a holiday and don't co-produce them with different studios so the content is constant. leading to huge gaps in content. Zagtoon doesn't "Business". especially when they are trying to make 2 films at the same time and develop at least 1 other TV show, when they can not even handle 1 show on its own. That is why Ghostforce just seems to have died I suspect (that and Russia was partly paying for it). Fairyon actually looks like it might be good.. it's pretty looking at least.

There is a theory that (a bit like Cat Blanc) we have seen what happens when they reveal at the both time (disaster) we have seen what happens when Marinette finds out first (also disaster) and so the actually reveal will be Adrien first.. though I don't really see the point of that as they will have to make up some convoluted excuse for him to NOT be happy.

Well Zag himself said the big reveal won't happen in Season 4, 6, or 7, but didn't mention 5. There was a lot of confirmation it would be in season 5, but yeah it didn't. It got popular so now, like everyone else, they're milking it cause it makes them money. It's originally was made just to sell toys... Also when it comes to the reveal, there couldn't be one supposedly as long as Gabriel was hawkmoth. Now that he's gone there's no legitimate reason they should keep it secret. And not revealing till the end will be way more lack luster and the most obvious route.

I still enjoy the fandom but when it goes on break I be reading or writing fanfictions & making MV’s. I can understand people dropping the show and it is very frustrating on going back & forth with unordered episodes. Seeing how the original genre of it as an anime or comics it was aimed towards young adults/teens with it being darker. I can see Adrientte breaking up due to Marinette keeping the secret. It will set people off but I mean that’s part of life where people break up. However they will get back together & be stronger from learning from their mistakes. The movie I enjoyed it but only 2 songs did stick out to me in the French dub. I have seen it here & there in French, European Spanish & English. It being dragged on did feel like it took too long & I have seen other shows where the characters & plot pick up in each season

Really, the fandom is dying due to release schedule. Over anything else, that's my biggest take away of it. I found the show on Netflix right around lockdowns in 2020. I'll be honest, I was itching for something fun and uplifting to watch, something that didn't really require a lot of braincells on my behalf, dealing with covid, a fast-paced work environment, that lockdown period where there was absolutely no work, the stress of having loved ones experience anything covid related -- mine was that my husband get ("non-covid related" (Nov-Jan 2019/2020) pneumonia, and everything else going on. I actually thought to myself, "an animated kids show might do the trick," and found this, on Netflix. And it was fun,. and great. But the second-most thing that really sucks about it, is the writing. So, on one hand I love how simple the show is, something that you can put on and fold laundry and wash dishes to, it's great for that. But 5 seasons, over 100 episodes, and it's nearly gone nowhere. The writing itself is just bad, and I say that as a person well into early adulthood, it can be very disappointing. Coming from someone that absolutely loves a few of the filler episodes, I think my favorite is "Frightningale". Sometimes the series just tickles me right, I love the highs and I love the lows. But them being poorly written doesn't help. Circling back to the original complaint, season 4 was, to my knowledge, was released in 2021, a year after Covid started. I wasn't too hurt by this, and I know Covid pushed everything back, but that season aired an episode, sometimes three episodes, every single month and then wouldn't release an episode for 2-3 months. Sometimes it was once a month. It just absolutely sucked. Season 4 and season 5 aired throughout 2021-2023, with wild various instances of release dates. I didn't care that it was out-of-order, it didn't really bother me. In part, while it was starting to serialize, I could understand that it might be that episode 4 aired and episode 7 is next. In part due to it's unsterilized nature and in part to me just really enjoying any content my poor peasant self could look forward to. For a show that normally starts dropping episodes in June, and for it to Drop S6E1 after S5E31, even with the Special, it's so gosh darn far away. And other things are taking my attention, I simply care less for it now. And that sucks, because I honestly just want to watch the show. I like how the show, the music, can draw emotion, I like how the animation can display textures of fabric or something stupid. It can be quite enjoyable. But even like, with Invincible, while I want the creators and animators to take their time and give us something good, the long wait time is very frustrating. It's only natural to lose interest. And like other fans have said: they've grown up throughout the time the show's taken thus far. I feel bad for everyone that works on this show, because it simply isn't the powerhouse they wanted it to be, that it could be, that *I* wanted it to be. It could've been great, but the feeling you walk away with the most, especially on the long wait times, is disappointment.

It's really not dying,the hype will come again when we get s6 and the new specials.And in my opinion the s5 finale is pretty good,sure it has some flaws but good overall.People had rushed season 5 and that's why we got so many bad things like the animation and some of the writing,so we better not hurry them up again and have patience.And also the last content we got for miraculous (The reverse Paris special) was veryy good,and you can tell they had enough time to finish it and write it corectly because it was announced after it was finished.

Lowkey probably because the fan made stuff is so much better than the show. Its been so long since we've gotten what we wanted fully out of the show that we just turned to the fan community for substance. I'm sure if the next season actually had good stuff, people would come back because it would actually give us what we wanted or needed but then it would feel like all these episodes were for nothing. That we waited so long for anything at all and that all the seasons we spent waiting could have been cut in half. Its really just that it would be better to do it ourselves, and because the fan made stuff isn't canon, we don't put it in the same category or directly reference the actual canon show when talking about it. Even further, as fanon stuff gets more and more removed from the show, what's the point of watching it? It isn't as good and fanon stuff is more thorough so it's like people don't need the canon to be interested anymore. When the show continues to be soulless and not give us good stuff to watch eventually the fanon stuff will be nothing like the canon, making it useless to watch the og, but also the fanon content won't be tied to the show anymore because of how different it might be at some point. Its like the sims and mods. So much stuff we fixed with mods because they sucked and only when the game actually implemented some of the modded stuff did we let go of the mods we used to supplement it. lol.

The thing that I don’t like about the show is that I really liked the romance part of it, but it started to get repetitive and boring. I wanted to know what was gonna happen between Marinette/ladybug and Adrian/CatNoir, but their relationship isn’t progressing at all. It was so interesting to me in the first 3 seasons but since I finished season 6 I’ve noticed the story will get really interesting and then go a complete different direction. It’s like the shows just going through a loop. I know the show is about the super hero’s and them defeating shadow/hawk-moth, but the people making the show need to realize that the relationships in the show are important too. I literally binged all 6 seasons within a week because I got back into it and was really excited to see what their lives would be like or if Marinette had confessed, but after that entire week wasted I feel like they are holding this off longer than needed. (Still gonna binge it again tho once the new seasons come out!! I’m still really excited to see what their relationship will be like, maybe just a little less excited than I was a week ago. 😅🎀)

The problem with the love square that I didn't see mentioned: Adrienette happens. And Ladynoir are just friends. And there's no reason to even HAVE the reveal anymore, there's no tension, no desire to have that reveal. So we wasted 5 damn seasons of will-they-won't-they only to have it wrap up in the neatest little bow that kills any further plot. Like what was the POINT of the love square or these five seasons if we could have just had Adrienette happen with no hiccups and Ladynoir were fine with not revealing their identities actually? Why couldn't we have this from what s2 or s3 on? What the point man?!

Cause like i’ve been a fan since circa 2016 (or whenever it first aired in Australia) Season 5 is when i starting falling out with miraculous and loosing interest. The whole thing with Adrien and Marinette getting together in season 5 before the reveal threw me off cause even though it was something i wanted for so long when Adrienette got together it just felt weird. I feel like miraculous has been dragged on SO LONG too I’d honestly be happy if the reveal happened sooner and even if the show ended sooner.

Honestly, they're just milking it at this point. Season 5 (or what I saw of it) seemed very rushed. I haven't kept up with it for a while, so forgive me if this is season 4, but it's so weird to me how all of a sudden Adrien just dropped Ladybug and was head over heels for Marinette. Like, you don't get over a major crush that quickly. And what they did with Adrienette... well, I'll say it how it is. It's extremely cringey. I used to be a major Adrienette shipper, but they just made it so sappy, and idk. The flow was completely off, they don't express emotions properly, and this is dragging on for way too long. It's also dumb that they're just now starting to make it more mature. Like, it went from Y7 to like, is it PG-13 now? These topics are definitely too dark for kids, and extremely hard to follow. Also, still not over the way they threw Chloe's redemption arc into the trash. They need some better writers, and frankly, I think Thomas should be fired. Lol 💀 Like, bro made a self-insert, with his whole thing being that he was mad that he wasn't recognized. Pick me boy attitude. And the fake out reveals are terrible too. Like, it's so bad how they're just like, "They find out each other's identities and the whole world ends." A tad dramatic. I love Cat Blanc, but we didn't need another episode like that. I'm a fan of the old Miraculous, not the new one.

Y'all need to calm down and smell the roses. Of course the reveal is going to take time. I liked the ending, only critique I have is that it wasn't a dramatic eye opener for Adrien, which would have been cool fanservice but it's clear that the ending sets up for a crazy season 6 with a really interesting premise and Adrien being left in the dark is the only way to do that. I think what they are trying to set up for Adrien and Marinette's relationship is going to be the kind of angsty reveal we all only thought would go canon in our wildest dreams. Imagine if the reveal happened in the season two finale. We would miss out on the entirety of Marinette's backstory with her anxiety, Marinette wouldn't be guardian, there would be no love square flip, we would miss out on so many cute and cool moments of the show. The love square is a cool concept and I think it was a good decision to take it slow, because once it's over they can't go back, (In a few seasons everyone will be grateful they have so much love square content to get nostalgic about.) and it's the main concept and draw of the show. Most cartoons would end with a reveal like that. We're already so lucky to get a unique cartoon like this one in the current censorship heavy era of kids tv. This is a love story! For kids! Done in a very mature way, most of the lessons this show teaches are brilliant, and it actually has moments where they are obviously in love, not just in 'like.' They kissed willingly. That's a show ender for cartoons and this one just treated it like a season finale. Miraculous is a first of its kind in many ways, and is incredibly ambitious. They are taking the blueprint and burning it on so many tropes and I am living for it as someone who loves cartoons, it's just so refreshing to me. TLDR; Be grateful you even get this much youngsters, I was in the DP nickelodeon trenches for years. 🥲

Actually I started watching the show months ago . I got to know about it months ago... What mostly appealed to me was the slow-burn buildup between Adrien and Marinette....it was their romance plotline that drew me to the show... I was curious to know when they'd finally learn their true identities as their personas....Well I enjoy the show a lot and also find Marinette's clumsiness and stalkerish behaviour very amusing... Well at least until I came online and discovered it was a topic for discussion online....The way people took it too seriously and kept bashing her character for it is one hell of a downer... It totally ruined my mood and my perception of the show....I didn't think it was that serious but people made so much fuss about it and kept calling the show trash... Some even went as far as to comment that Adrien is boring and the romance between him and Marinette is downright cringe.... seriously, that is a stretch.. ...They have completely ruined the way i see this show... They seem to forget the characters are fictional and in their world everything is meant to be OTT for comedic effect....My sisters and I watched binge-watched all the seasons in a week....Though we observed how creepy Marinette is , we pointed it out but then laughed it off but we didn't know it was up for a stormy debate online ....

Same. I loved S1 and s2. S3 and S4 had more lore than the first 2. (S1 & S2 always had the same pattern of someone getting akumstised and then ladybug saves them) (While S3 & S4 was giving more stories about characters, new super heroes, more background for Gabriel). I was looking forward to s5. But the releasing of the episodes were sooo messed up. They didn't release it chronologically which made everything so confusing!! I had to Google what order I was supposed to watch it in. And it takes forever to release each episode too. I would like to watch it in either English dub or french dub with English sub, but their first release was always Portuguese. I personally don't like how it sounds plus because of how fast Portuguese is spoken, the English subs go by crazy fast too. Both Marinette and Adrien are just so stupid for 15 year olds. And it's like really romantic? But also super cringe!! And whenever their identities get leaked, they just can't hide their knowledge about each other which is why hawkmoth..shadow moth? From what I can seem to find rumor wise (in Season 7) Potentially he just sees Ladybug/Marinette transforming as Cat Noir. Suggesting Cat Noir knows and Marinette will know Cat Noir knows.. but have no clue that Adrien knows or that she's dating Cat Noir. They might then have Marinette tell things on the understanding that he not tell Adrien The only problem with that is that would require a ton of Marichat and they don't tend to do that so much.
