Another entry in my own AU I've now renamed "Arkham Rogues"!
The idea behind this AU is the darker (and generally more dangerous) villains from Batman's Rogue Gallery start appearing mysteriously in the Miraclous Ladybug universe.
This essentially just came about because of some fun ideas I had in my head as a voice actor I wanted to bring to live because I have no actual drawing or art talent of my own! XD
Other people are more than welcome to do other videos or make artwork of this concept of well of course! For me this was just a fun idea for me to accomplish between my comic dub projects ;D

Another odd yet fun video! Due to the winter storm I was without power for almost 3 days, without internet for longer, and as such I wasn't able to focus on any of my regular content this week.. but! Freezing my butt off in -6 temperatures inspired me to make another Villain related Ladybug video! Awhile back I made a video called "Joker vs Hawkmoth" just for the fun of it, and now with this sequel I'm officially naming this concept the "Arkham Rogues AU", where villains from Batman's rogue gallery mysteriously appear all over Paris in the Miraculous Ladybug universe! Feel free to write your own fanfics, comics, or videos based on this concept, just remember to credit me for the idea! ;D

This just makes me want more villains in the show other than Hawkmoth. Villains that have no connection to the miraculous in any way. Imagine a Deathstroke like assassin, or a Loki trickster character. So much potential!

I haven’t watched the show in such a long time because of the repetitiveness of each episode. 95-99% of all episodes are “Adrien or Marinette have a problem, someone gets Akumatized by Hawky, The heroes struggle, Mari wins by litteral Deus ex Machina and day is saved, problem solved.” And the biggest proponent of that is the “villains” (Litteraly only Hawky, Lila and Chloe, and those two are a stretch) What if they just....have new characters that aren’t related to the miraculous? Villains that have nothing to do with them, and are just evil. I want more worldbuilding!

@@wumpuswoo9946 As well as proper development instead of everything resetting by the end of the episode. After 3 whole seasons of _will - they - won't - they,_ Marinette and Adrien have made no progress whatsoever. If anything, it's been knocked back. They also never do anything to figure out who Hawky is, where he is, no plan on stopping him in the long run, etc. And Adrien gets put to the side so much. Chat Noir is basically just a tool for Ladybug to tell what to destroy (because apparently he can't make any plans or contribute in any way other than flirting, terrible jokes, and getting mind controlled more times than Chloe can say _"REEEEDIKULUS")_ There is so much narrative potential just from the fact that he's Hawky's son, but instead we're treated to *How will Marinette stalk Adrien in this episode?* Lila's lies are so extreme, that the characters either have to be the dumbest people on the planet, or they play along because it's easier (and just failed to tell Marinette). Chloe's arc was completely wasted because Thomas Astruc just doesn't seem to like her character enough to allow her to become a better person. Every single fight is identical. - Villain shows up (probably because of Chloe) - LB and CN show up - They fight and try to figure out where the Akuma is - CN flirts to the point of not paying attention and needing to get his ass saved - Cue _Lucky Charm_ and some absurd plan that could easily be done by doing *anything else* - LB tells CN what to destroy - Plan works and Akuma is destroyed - No lasting psychological effects or resentment held by the Akumatized person (because beating the anger out of someone apparently works) - All damage is reset with no lasting consequences - And the time loop begins again Marinette went from a shy girl with a crush who became confident under a superhero persona, and became a creepy stalker who thinks she's the greatest hero ever and makes sure to let everyone know (often berating CN) The reasoning that they can't reveal their secret identities to each other is stupid. Before it was just out of security and comfort in the anonymity. But then out of nowhere, it became the case that if they revealed their identities to each other, they would have to give up their miraculous. It makes no sense, and it's used solely to justify the entire show staying the same forever. They even hint at more interesting stories to tell, but then get cold feet and back-track into what is familiar. - Chloe's and Lila's family lives that made them into the people they are - Adrien's and Gabriels relationship outside of it being distant the majority of the time, then actually loving for an episode or two, then back to distant - The history of the Miraculous, previous wielders, etc This show has such an interesting concept. But the presentation and direction ruins all that potential. The fan-fictions are more interesting than everything the show has done

Mmmm, I'm squeeing over the similarities between Hawkmoth and Dr Freeze. They're so alike in so many ways. Not unlike the conversation Hawkmoth had with the Joker, who is just too unstable to team up with. The dude's a complete wild card, whereas, Freeze is in the same boat as Hawkmoth. I smell a fanfic on the horizon.

Literally the last minute of this video is just so intense. The for play of mr freeze, the intent in his voice, and the refusal of an akuma its just so chilling. We have mr freeze who has full intent of taking the miraculous from them and will use the full power of his scientific knowledge against them. Just the ending alone makes people want more, it makes people want to see what happens, it makes people see how he will fight ladybug and chat noir The bit starts at 6:12

Up until this point, all of the DCxML material I had encountered was just like dozens of fics with Marinette being shipped with one of the batboys and while I'm sure enjoyable, didn't interest me and I had more or less written off any potential DCxML crossovers would be very much the same...UNTIL I CAME ACROSS THIS.
