Where I'm from at least, it's well known among both students and teachers that the closer you live to the school the more you are late lol (or at least barely make it). When you know that you live a few minutes away, it's very easy to feel like you have enough time, wake up later, be slower and end up leaving late (and then rush like your life depends on it no matter the terrain/weather/your stamina etc lol).

Exactly. The concept is great but the show rots due to 1.) Aesopp whiplash. Especially with Chloe's character who by S4 runs on Insane Troll Logic and isn't even a real person 2.) The stupid rule given the two main characters not knowing each others secret identities and Zag and friends trolling the fan base with what if episodes to show that its a bad idea for them to know each other. 3.) The lack luster growth. Sometimes you forget the characters are in HS and not middle school with how shallow a lot of story lines are.

Well, if you’re looking for a similar concept, Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja is pretty similar, and it’s pretty good. There’s admittedly a LOT of toilet humor and Howard can be a jackass sometimes but it’s also legitimately good, so I’d give it a shot.

Adrian, although the most interesting re sting character, has had much more of a static character arc. Chloe, Luka, Kagami, Alya abd nino, Static character arca again As of Chloe did get a postive character arc and THEY MESSED IT UP. Lila, honestly my favorite character other than Adrien, has remained manipulative, evil and with a STATIC CHARACTER ARC.

It's completely possible because it happened in the Miraculous World specials, with New York allegedly coming after Shanghai, which calms Mari down although having a much weaker story and slightly worse Ladybug. Also, why wouldn't I want Chloe to get a redemption? She was set up for one, robbed of it, and is now being teased to have a family member be the catalyst for her redemption instead of people she idolizes and cares about much more? I mean, it kind of works but they did not need to pull what they pulled in the S3 finale. I'd love to see her get redeemed but I also don't trust the show to use the interesting potential it keeps setting up because it hasn't used it for three seasons. So, we'll see.

@@MaeAlessa I'd argue that Kagami did change slightly, moving away from her mother's teachings of being stoic and cold, but the show did also take that in S4 and then kind of tried to make her look like the bad guy in a later episode when Marinette didn't listen to her about Adrien. Other than that, hard agree, and it's annoying that all that happened and the show doesn't see the issue with that.

um... that’s pretty much the opposite. Season 1 is basically just like any other animated kids show and is not that interesting. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. But then, in season 2, a real storyline starts to get into the show, it starts to get more epic way more interesting and it gets even better in season 3 and even better in season 4. Correction, all that stuff _continuously_ pops up but they never fail to throw it away. New characters keep being introduced which is dumb because the ones that were in the show in the beginning barely have any development and characters keep getting kwami but we know the show isn't smart enough to bring characters into more fights. As Alya says in S4, you can never have enough help. They keep handing out miraculous like it's Halloween but Trixx and Pollen are the only ones consistently used.
