I’m gonna say, from what I know about MLB, that they kinda are,, but the ship isn’t canon

@@grace.mich11 To be completely fair, Kagami and Adrien actually have pretty similar environments. Both have very strict parents whom expect them to be the best. They both come from prestigious families and are good at fencing. But the ship isn't canon. It's made pretty clear from the beginning (although a show has the possibility to go in any direction), Ladybug and Chat Noir are the central pair, heroic partners are romantic partners. Their dynamic has been quite meticulously crafted, and while Adrien has this Chat Noir side to him he can never possibly be truly in love with Kagami. One of the problems that I think the show has purposely thrown in to set Adrien and Kagami apart is the scene from Season 4 where Kagami asks Adrien to pose naturally and he does a Chat Noir pose.
