This episode showed what would happen if Ladybug discovered who Cat Noir is, opposing to "Cat Blanc", where Adrien was the one to discover who Ladybug is. And, I don't know if you have noticed, but the number 100 was mentioned a lot, as this is the 100th episode.

Ephemeral is something that lasts for a short time. That fits to his power, which is to accelerate time to his targets, being why her countdown got faster. Also, that past Ladybug was none other than Jeanne d'Arc, the French warrior that fought at the One Hundred Years War. And Trixx being at the box is just an error. Shadow Moth with the Cat Miraculous is called Shadow Noir.

@@a6cat1playing49 Having in consideration that Trixx now lives with Alya and that he was not with the other kwamis in "Dearest Family", I am pretty sure that was an error. Trixx could be there to visit the other kwamis, but I doubt he would just get away from Alya when kwamis are not allowed to get away from their owners. Not to mention this wouldn't be the first time they would do an animation error where Trixx would be with the other kwamis despite being now with Alya.

The tragedy of it all is that despite some initial awkwardness, Marinette and Adrien would function perfectly as both a superhero team and as a couple. Only Gabriel stumbling upon his son's alter ego ruined things. From then on, it was "Chat Blanc" redux. The only way the Reveal(TM) can happen and stick is if Adrien discovers Shadowmoth's identity separately from his mom in the basement. That one-two punch invariably discombobulates the kid so much he can't fight off the akuma.

This episode only came to turn the theory about Adrien being a sentimonster even stronger. But it's not just that. We can't ignore the possibility of Félix also being a sentimonster. That being said, with all that, there's the theory that Adrien and Félix are twin sentimonsters, created by Emilie and Gabriel with the amok inhabiting the twin rings. Because the amok would be in two objects at the same time, it created two sentimonsters instead, similar to how identical twins are made, and one ring would control one of the two sentimonsters. That would explain why Adrien became much more obedient to his father after Félix stole Gabriel's ring and the latter then took Emilie's.

I'm 100% sure that ADRIEN IS NOT A SENTIMONSTER! Because if he was, Gabriel would already have the Cat ring, since Peacock holder can see, what sentimonster see. And in Optygami, after Shadow Moth click his fingers, SentiNino and Optygami disappeared together. And Adrien would gone too.

@@twokai5769 The Peacock Miraculous holder can choose which sentimonster to destroy. But I have to agree it's rather odd Gabriel doesn't know Adrien is Cat Noir if the holder of the amok can see through the sentimonster's eyes. However, we still don't know much what type of sentimonster Adrien would be. If that type of sentimonster would have damaged the Peacock Miraculous, then he would be different than the others in a way. But there's also a possibility that Adrien is not totally a sentimonster. Maybe Emilie created a sentimonster to save Adrien from a certain condition and now that sentimonster is part of him.

@@rafaelmatos5851 I still think, that Adrien isn't a sentimonster. In Wishmaker, when Cat Noir got hit, we saw a baby Adrien, right? And in Feast Master Fu's sentimonster, who was created almost 2 centuries ago, was revived and looked like before. Which probably means that sentimonsters don't age.

To clarify ladybug did not know luka was aware of her identity, the lucky charm pointed to luka and so she sent him the photo of the watch and a message, betting it was enough information for him to figure out he was marinette and he needed to go to sass. Remember Rena Rouge was not meant to be in public anymore due to the events of "sentibbubbler", she is currently undercover as Rena furitive, Trixx was in marinettes room not because of anything that happened in the series, it was just an error by one of the studios who help animate the show, remember, "Dearest family" takes place after "quilin" and before "ephemeral , so nothing really happened there. "In "dearest family" we once again see how Trixx is not in Marinettes room, and don't panic, Alya doesn't have her fanny pack with trixx in it in this episode because of another animation error.Rena Furitive is still waiting in the shadow for hawkmoth to make another appearance so she could follow him. The whole satellite thing was meant to repair the damage Sass's power caused to the words time just enough so the miraculous ladybug could repair everything else they couldn't. In terms of this episode being another "what if" episode well, for years fans have debated on who should uncover their identity first, there were those who said adrien should know first, while others said ladybug should know first. But what "chat blanc" and "ephemeral" revealed to us was that neither of them can know each others identity due to Gabriel still being hawkmoth, because so long as hawkmoth is still adriens dad and so long as adrien is doomed to uncover his mother's true whereabouts and his fathers true identity, he will be doomed to be akumatized. What we learned is that something else needs to happen to lead up to their identity reveals and something needs to happen to help Adrien through the moment he will find out about his mom and dad because he will find out again, there is no avoiding it,

I don't like that ladybug saying herself 100 times is a good guardian she breaks the rules, gives alya miraculous just because she's a friend, makes a lot of other bad things, she messes with everything, and she thinks she's brilliant and yells at an adult, one of her teachers, I hate Ladybug, so suhan should have stolen her miraculous, because marinette didn't deserve it, and somehow suhan took the blame, ladybug's fault for messing things up and breaking the rules.
