The delta wing is the most efficient design. It has a few issues in flight but the age of fly-by-wire eliminate all that. They are as good as any best design of the US and Russia. It is the best looking!

Mark Feldon Productions has a pretty good docu on the Vulcan penetrating American airspace and doing simulated nuclear bomb strikes as part of a military exercise...twice! The Americans were so shocked and embarrassed that they classified this event for decades.

Underpowered....compare the ration trust/weight....f22=1.09,mirage 2000=1.24, so underpowered, maybe, but still way better than the considered best fighter

Keep in mind that its much less manuverable in a dogfight with missile bombs and fuel tanks adding weight and increasing the drag

You don't do dogfight with external fuel tanks and bombs. Missiles are not a big deal for the 2000, either with Magics or MICA.

if a fighter is fully loaded when another one engage him, he drop the fuel pods and Bombs to gain the agility he need. comming back with the jet is more important than a few bombs

This is a very well known fact that the French always fight in some place or other (almost all the time in Africa, PLUS in other places now and then (Iraq, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Syria...)). The Mirage 2000s and other planes (Mirage F1s, Jaguars, Super Etendards...) were often involved, and also the Rafales from 2007 (Afghanistan, and then Libya, West Africa, Iraq and Syria).
