STRANGE Black-and-white film sequences are his reality, and color film sequences are his reminisces? The setting is a university with a large chapel? The two main characters in the film are students? Was the failed relationship between the boy and girl just a mirage, an optical illusion, that he imagined and not a real relationship? Usually, reminisces are pleasurable. And almost all human relationships fail. Nice film-noir-esque cinematography and mood music, but they are not substitutes for plot and story.
